AP set or original from xiaomi?
I'm not sure exactly which rom they flash for ap set.
For me, I use twrp and flash rom from xiaomi.eu and gapps from opengapps. Working fine so far

Just received my RN2 from LEX, checked the warranty still not updated yet, need to wait databse to be update by lazada maybe...

I have updated the MIUI version 7.0.12.0 but still having playstore force stop when try to type in search field. I just tested, the playstore will force stop when i type 'w' but for others alphabet are ok..

btw, how to turn on/off the GPS? i cant see any..sorry new to MIUI, still exploring...

I got this case. Quality where can fight original Spigen .....compare the price la. Spigen using polycarbonate and this ipaky using normal plastic and rubber but quality acceptable. Nice looking also but i prefer redmi note 2 cloned slim armour. More solid.

I have done basically everything I know to save battery life. Location, sync, brightness..failed . Just read previous post, need to root and down clock the cpu speed to 1.4..

I've just used the phone with a few charge cycles. So far battery life can reach 4-4.5 hours of SOT with around 20% left.

My usage and settings: More wifi than data (set as 4G preferred), web browsing+FB with no gaming. Dual-sim and on Balanced mode for power with 30% brightness. Latest firmware 7.0.12.
