He definitely passed away, RIP. But what I initially heard was cardiac arrest, not sure about suicide though.

EY Partner Low Kin Weng committed suicide on 15 march. RIP

During the funeral, other partners that attended were scolded by his parents for giving their son so much stress that he committed suicide

Well, pay before Covid-19 is considered as not too bad provided you do not divide by the number of hours you spent in working everyday!
But right now, there are increment cuts, causing MANY MANY to leave. cool2.gif

Not really sure about the increment changes, but I would say it is more important to fight for promotion and progression, since they tend to halt promotion as well (ie. Associate to Senior, AM to Manager etc). Career progression is much more crucial than the few more hundreds of RM you get per month.

Now it is really not the best time to join Big 4. Too many seniors are leaving causing the juniors to lead those engagements which they have no clue at all!

I can confirm this as well. To much pressure on the juniors to take up role which they know nothing at all.

Steep learning curve, but too little time to handle. But I would say some of my seniors been through this type of high resignation year when they were juniors and survived till now and performed well.

Anyone here have interview experience with EY for experienced hire? Normally what’s the process after final interview with Sr Manager? How long does it take for HR to get back on the feedback? Appreciate if anyone could share their experience thanks!
