QUOTE(NotCooll @ May 9 2021, 12:46 PM) Now it is really not the best time to join Big 4. Too many seniors are leaving causing the juniors to lead those engagements which they have no clue at all! I can confirm this as well. To much pressure on the juniors to take up role which they know nothing at all.

QUOTE(MaxTan96 @ Jul 15 2021, 11:47 AM) Anyone here have interview experience with EY for experienced hire? Normally what’s the process after final interview with Sr Manager? How long does it take for HR to get back on the feedback? Appreciate if anyone could share their experience thanks! Each department usually has different approach, albeit not to far from each other. Since you're in technology - I was from tech service line - usually the final interview with Senior Manager is to see if you can fit into their team culture. Nothing much to worry about, just be yourself and you'll be fine.

QUOTE(MaxTan96 @ Jul 20 2021, 12:31 AM) Thanks for the insight! Would you mind sharing how long to anticipate feedback from HR / the team after the interview? I heard it could take up to a month?? And will HR send a formal rejection say I didn't make it through the final interview? My previous department/service line will always chase for update internally maximum 2-3 days after interview. Adding the overhead from Talent team (which typically very slow) you can anticipate between 2-3 weeks until the final result. Don't be afraid to email your assigned contact person from talent team. Good luck!

QUOTE(MaxTan96 @ Jul 26 2021, 10:57 PM) It’s almost one month after my last interview with the hiring manager. Hr did come back to me couple of weeks ago asking for 3 months payslip for further process. Haven’t heard from them after that, dropped an email to follow up but no response also. Does that mean no hope already? Will they even bother to drop a formal rejection email? Sigh As post above me mentioned, I think move on if you have another opportunity. One thing you should bear in mind is that beware of HR cutting of the agreed amount of salary. When I was in the compensation discussion during my hiring process, the recruiter and me agreed on the value of compensation after back and forth discussion. But when the offer letter came, HR (or talent) cut 15% from the total nominal. I didn't know about this and initially blamed the recruiter. But the recruiter mentioned that the offer for the salary all need to go through HR (which know little to none about market value of my skillset). I checked with few of my colleagues on my sub service line and they also experienced the same problem above. Looks like it's their tactic to press further on the salary.
