Anyone here experience accepting a job offer and received another job offer with better pay and benefit? Is it ok to accept a letter offer and turn it down later on?

I have but that's in malaysia not sg. It does leave a bad impression to the rejected one. I'd say make your decision based on the company size and field. If you work in a small niche better dont let them to have a chance to bad mouth you but again, if it's SME vs mnc everyone know the choice.

check if there is any clause in the offer letter which will "release" you from the first offer.
back then, mine had a clause that if i notify them 2 weeks before hand, it is okay
i still got screwed by the agent though...and they made my other colleague who replaced me to sign that they will go or get fined.
felt very guilty for rejecting them....but no regrets whatsoever for accepting the 2nd offer as it turns out very good.

It was a pirated OS machine but nope, no issues in bringing it from M'sia. Brought along my 24" monitor together as well. I did place it inside a luggage bag though (easier to lug the whole thing around).
