I can't think of any resellers @ LYP carrying XFX PSU. hmm.gif

on LYN, I'm sure you can get it. But the problem is whether they do keep the stock for it.

Seasonic S12 or M12 II 620W is your another option. Just call C-Zone to check for availability or search for it at Garage Sales.

No. It will use only what it needs, for example, 550W. And the thing is, you might even save a little more money on your electric bill as a power supply usually has a higher efficiency when it's half loaded.

According to AMD website, 4890 requires a 500W PSU.
Why don't consider Silverstone Strider 500W/Seasonic S12II 520W/FSP Saga II 500W?

What's with the (price about 6++!!)? If you already know it's expensive why still considering it? 750W is kinda overkill even if you want to SLI the card in the future. Either the Seasonic or Silverstone is fine.

Corsair as you know, is overpriced. It is using the same unit as Seasonic, so why not getting the cheaper one for similar item? Besides, those high end PSUs have excellent performance and silent operation, I bet if I put all three in different cases you won't be able to determine which is which right? smile.gif

SeaSonic X850 850W 80+ Gold = 650
SeaSonic 650W X-650 (A/M/80+) = 499
SilverStone Strider plus 750W Modular = 499

budget RM600, i want a full modular psu with about the same specs with above psu.
i wonder if i can get better psu.

There's also Seasonic x750 priced at 599. At budget of 600, you can either go for Silverstone 750 or Seasonic x750. Both are fully modular and have excellent performance. Only difference is that the Silverstone is silver certified and the Seasonic is gold certified.

If you want to save up some cash then go for the Strider, it gets the job done at a rm100 discount. If you dont care about paying a bit more for the name and epeen rights, then go for Seasonic.
