Between these 3 PSU whuch one is the most better?

1. Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 1200W
2. Corsair AX1200
3. Silverstone Strider Gold 1200W
*
These 3 are just fine.
Just go for the cheapest unit.

Woah, what type components r u going to use that require those monster psu's?

1.CM Silent Pro Gold 1200w --> RM 819 ; 5 years warranty
2.Corsair AX1200 --> RM 1060 ; 7 years warranty
3.Silverstone Strider Gold --> RM 900 ; 3 years warranty

I'd personally choose option 3. But if I were to have extra cash, I'd choose the AX1200 for sure.
U might wanna see those 3 psu reviews here ----> PSU Reviews

Well, CM Silent Pro Gold do have high ripple that may be a potential hardware destroyer/

jonnyGuru certified, but it's on a Corsair 1200W PSU.

Guys between this two:
Fsp Saga II 500w - RM169
Vs
PoweRock 500w- RM200.
Which is better?
On gigabytes website, in the PDF, it indicated the powerock is only 432 true power but they say can support up to hD5970.

It would be helpful if u could also list out the current components in ur pc.
Between those two, Fsp Saga II 500w would be a better choice.

Lol, seriously? Here's an example of HD 5970 power consumption in the spoiler below:

Even if the Gigabyte PowerRock psu could power up that beast, it will certainly stress it to the max sweat.gif

I only know All IT at Low Yat sells it at RM165. But you can bug storm88 for Seasonic Silence Pro 500W. That will be better since it is 80Plus Bronze certified and it is higher quality. RM199 for it is a steal.

Nope. Unless u run into stability issues, then it's time to change.

Yeah, BSOD is one of the sign but I can't guarantee it as sometimes it will be other issues like RAM or other parts.

Usually it has something to do with your house. Try changing the wall socket.

GTX460 needs only 450W. You got 50W to OC. smile.gif

Hey guys. I'll be getting 2 gtx 580 in a few months time. Whats the most suitable PSU for 2 580's?

I've read that the Corsair HX 850W is good enough but I just wanna be sure by asking you guys.

Don't see any 850W PSU listed

http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone_build_psu.html

I suggest going Silverstone Strider Plus Gold 1000W or any 900W+ ones.

Thanks, can you help me to choose between

Seasonic Silence PRO 80 500watts RM199
FSP SAGA2 500 Watts 12cm Fan (True 500W Watts *Peak 550W) RM175

12CM fan, does that mean the FSP is gonna be noisy?

It's a no brainer going Silence Pro 500W. This one is also 80Plus Bronze certified. Don't need to know about FSP.

500watts PSU doesn't provide it's power like this. 500watts is a TOTAL WATTAGE generated by a psu.

+12V generated by a 500watt psu is normally around 380Watts, peak 430watts
If your GC and spec need 450w of raw power out from +12V, then the psu is out
