QUOTE(ianthow @ Oct 11 2010, 02:59 PM) mushy, how loud is that? could you give some example? The noise is intermediate and it is driving me crazy... The noise is like buzzing speaker, on and off bzzzzzzzz sound. I would not say it is loud but damn annoying... We do provide RMa on it, if the buzzing sound is louder than "normal condition" |

QUOTE(ianthow @ Oct 11 2010, 03:06 PM) @storm88 okay, it's how we determine it's noise level:listen to it closely (near the back of the casing), it is like faint buzzing sound of a florescence tube at night high up in the ceiling... the buzzing is on and off. BTW, the fan is super quiet! CPU on the table, shutter closed. a) Slightly / barely heard it = Fine b) able to heard the sound from PSU, on / off, = It's normal c) Even the speaker (if you have one on your desk) blasting sound but you still manage to heard that annoying buzzing sound = Try send it in for RMA check CPU on floor below the table, shutter close. a) Slightly / barely heard it = Fine b) able to heard the sound from PSU. It's random, After two layer of filtering and you still hearing it, it MIGHT be a problematic psu c) Speaker on but still buzzing sound clearly? No doubt, you can get a new one. p/s: ALL RMA IS SUBJECT TO EQUIMENT TEST. STATISTIC SHOWN SOME HARDWARE WILL CAUSE THE PSU TO EMITS BUZZING SOUND. Added on October 11, 2010, 2:14 pm QUOTE(herojack41 @ Oct 11 2010, 03:10 PM) if im not wrong...high quality PSU would not hav buzzing rite Not really. The Electric buzzing sound caused by power drain in the system. I don't really understand how inside a PSU works, but the sound emitted is somehow quite random. Sometime even a high ranked Corsair psu or Seasonic PSU, they emites sound alsoThis post has been edited by storm88: Oct 11 2010, 02:14 PM |

QUOTE(leewai @ Oct 21 2010, 03:54 PM) Guys i have a question, can seasonic m12ii 620w be used to sli gtx460? Single Gtx460 require 2 6pin connector right? This psu has 1 PCI-E 6P and 1 PCI-E 6P/8P. Is it sufficient? M12 ii 620 does come with 2 6+2 PCIE power.however, based on Nvidia recommended 750watts on GTX460 SLI |

abit late for the reply,
as per bro satriakid's query base on your spec, your Proc + Mobo already drawn close to 45% of the power from your PSU. Your system will still run fine with your Zalman 400watts with HD4850, just... not recommended for long purpose |

QUOTE(TechnoG @ Nov 25 2010, 08:16 PM) for your info, all Seasonic are single rail. The sticker shown are "virtual" dual rails. Added on November 27, 2010, 12:21 am QUOTE(kingkingyyk @ Nov 26 2010, 10:03 PM) Wait, why you stay at such low power PSU. somebody maybe just using a HD5670? Thats more than enough for 400wattsThey won't be sufficient when power hungry graphic card is used. Get at least 450w. This post has been edited by storm88: Nov 27 2010, 12:21 AM |

QUOTE(lost123 @ Jan 15 2011, 11:50 PM) So im guessing coz its seasonic inside, it would be recommended? but i read that it didnt pass the 80+ test.. but still would it still be recommended? coz if it is, then ill plan to get this.. coz its probably the only one thats in my budget range for a PSU. recommend you get Seasonic instead, proven brand and quality |

QUOTE(TristanX @ Feb 21 2011, 11:25 PM) Usually it has something to do with your house. Try changing the wall socket. 500watts PSU doesn't provide it's power like this. 500watts is a TOTAL WATTAGE generated by a psu.GTX460 needs only 450W. You got 50W to OC. +12V generated by a 500watt psu is normally around 380Watts, peak 430watts If your GC and spec need 450w of raw power out from +12V, then the psu is out |

QUOTE(CannedPenguins @ May 5 2011, 06:52 AM) Good modular psu @ ~RM200, not that I can see. You've been spoiled with the Odin GT @ RM169, just be aware that it's not common to see something like that go for that kinda price. You'll have to see what's available locally to you and decide based on what you can buy there, unless you're willing to buy online. this model has been in the market for the 4th year. And indeed it is a very old productat price of RM169, no doubt it is a clearance stock price |
