I have one, bought for my wife. For my eldest child, will be getting a manual for him, standard is enough. |

Agreed. It's acceptable for a 1.3 car..The only disadvantage is the clutch-based system. Imagine driving manual, stepping on the accelerator while slowly releasing the clutch. The rev will go up but the actual power comes a little bit later. It's less prevalent as the car gets warmed up over time. Once it gets going, it's definitely not underpowered if you step on it. |

Check the Owner's List on 1st page. I think it's amost 50-50 or 40-60 for 1.3 vs 1.6.and no, I can tell you even if Iriz is a pretty heavy car at 1.1k+ kg, it is not under powered. Although the CVT gearbox makes the Iriz looks as if it is under powered even for the 1.6 engine. Once you get the hang of driving a CVT gearbox and know how to control the car, then you will know. Go for a test drive! That's the best hands on experience to see whether you are satisfied with it or not. |

Average fuel consumption is about 8.5l/100km |
