Hi guys, need some guidance from sifus here regarding the Taobao Global Direct Shipping.

Previously I'm using agent to purchase & ship items from TB. So this is my 1st time going to try this out myself. But I have few matter need to be assure before proceeding to do so.

1. If I buy few items from different sellers from TB, will these items be shipped to me in 1 parcel at the same time? Or it will be shipped differently?

2. If all items will be shipped in the same time in 1 parcel, need to arrange it before or after making payment to taobao?

3. Can I use local bank CC to make payment for the items purchased from taobao together with the courier fees as well? How & where to check the currency exchange rate by using CC?

4. Normally how long it will take to arrive to MY by using air courier?

5. Is there a list of items that will be tax by Malaysia custom that we can refer to?
*
1- Depends on which shipment you choose, there are 2 type. One is for single order items (cheaper)while another one can combine multiple order ( more exp, depends on weight / dimension volume)

2- Depends on which you choose as well, single order ( you have to make payment when you buy -in once ), combine order ( you need to pay seperately, first time for items, 2nd time for shipping fees after they received all the items and calculate the weight)

3- Yes, you can. Online transfer, most of the bank supported.

4- Depends on which courier, so far my experience ( skynet) 7-12days.

*if anything goes wrong , can go for refund.

1st of all, thanks for the reply.

1. "single order items" - is it refer to 1 time order multiple items and pay them at once together with the shipment fee included?

2. Be it online transfer or CC, how can I check the exchange rate for that particular day I make payment? Or taobao will let me know the rate when I make payment? I call to my CC bank, they told me that bank will charge 1% and Visa will charge me 1% for foreign currency transaction from my CC...

3) There will be a 3% transaction fee for credit card payment while 1.5% transaction fee for e-banking payment

5) To be safe, only buy below RM500 including the shipping charges per shipment

Can Checkout. I tried using taobao cargo because apparently shenzen warehouse and Prouter usually can send certain prohibited items. This toy plastic gun is considered prohibited item apparently. But it got rejected by the warehouse.

Now im finding ways to ship it in for personal use. So difficult one.

My items kena tahan and stuck at kastam now. Courier company ask me to pay tax which I think the tax amount is reasonable. But they want me to pay additional fee for EDI charges + handling fee which are more expensive than the tax. So I ask them whether I can go to kastam clear it myself, the answer is NO. They told me not everyone can go kastam and need to has some kind of pass. Anyone can share if has similar experience? Should I just pay the courier company? sad.gif

it could be possible that they already paid the custom tax on behalf of you. Have you agreed to let them pay on behalf of you?
you may call the custom to ask.

that edi charge and handling fee is just insane

Shipping is another RM40++

Not sure what is K1 form, i received total 4 pages of document. The other two: consignment note & "Perfoma invoice" as goods declaration. This is might be the K1 form?
