Yeah, after testing many bulbs (and my friend for testing the HID), I found out that normal bulb is more than enough.

QUOTE(winners8 @ Dec 5 2015, 07:08 AM) Ha, my 2015 PREVE CFE also have that krek...krek...krek sound when turning the steering. I had also sprayed some high temperature lithium grease onto the steering's "universal joint", but to no avail. I thought of going to check with the SC but since you have already changed to a new steering rack and still the same, I think I'll just live with it. Actually, it's not very obvious and with the radio switched ON, most of the time, you'll not notice it. front absorber top mount. change it.As for the steering force, I think it's normal for the PROTON PREVE. Hydraulic power steering will definitely be heavier than those Electrical power steering type. This post has been edited by ropaisoft: Dec 6 2015, 05:45 PM |

QUOTE(ZooK @ Dec 3 2015, 08:17 PM) O.o check power steering pump.I think I better bring my car back to Proton to test. Like I don't have power steering. But as I remember, test drive unit was also quite hard to turn. Maybe after using the car for so long already, the weight of the wheel getting to me. |

QUOTE(ChokenBako @ Nov 27 2015, 02:22 PM) Question: normal.Under normal circumstances, when we arm/lock any car while any door is ajar, there would be a reminder like the horn blaring to bring our attention to the said matter. The same applies to Preve EXCEPT if the ajar door happens to be any of the 2 front ones. The SC said that's the way it is for Preve. Is that true? Other Preve owners' feedback is very much appreciated. Its failure to send out such reminder is not that helpful as sometimes, we may be at quite a distance from our car when we want to be sure that we've locked it. |

QUOTE(winners8 @ Dec 7 2015, 08:05 AM) But the krek....krek....krek.... sound is coming from the steering column inside the car. There's no abnormal sound from the engine compartment nor from areas near the front absorber when turning the steering wheel. are you absolutely sure it coming from there?sound happens at low speed, when parking etc, but disappear at higher speeds? if yes, then the absorber top mount is very likely. had it once, SC changed steering rack, doesn't solve it. then SC changed top mount, problem solved. also, take out the passenger side steering rack bush (c-shaped), add grease to the inside surface. can also try removing the strut bar (4 screws) then put it back together. |

QUOTE(ropaisoft @ Dec 7 2015, 07:05 PM) are you absolutely sure it coming from there? Sound happens when turning the steering wheel regardless of whether the vehicle is in motion or is at stationary. I suspect the sound is coming from the steering column inside the vehicle's cabin. The sound is definitely not from the engine compartment. QUOTE(mengsuan @ Dec 5 2015, 01:23 PM) Identify, is it the rear speaker board or door panels? Okay thanks for the heads-up. Not sure if it is from the rear or the door panels, think both also emit sound. Will try the windscreen method. If door panel, after winding up, press down briefly. The window is still shut, but with less expansion on door panels, it may reduce vibrations. For rear speaker board, have to send to soundproofing shop for dampening. I can turn up to beyond half the volume before panels would rattle. Preve LE has additional door dampening material inside, which Proton didn't tell. Not sure if it makes any difference. Just recently, the sound system is acting very weirdly when playing MP3 music from a USB device. It will automatically shut down by itself, then after 5 seconds the system will reboot and continue to play the music. It happens very frequently this morning, shutting down and rebooting in every 1 minute or so. And when the system reboots, the track will skip to some other track. Think the system has gone cuckoo. |

Damn I regret my decision to test drive the premium ONLY after I booked the exec. Hp agreement already signed and all.. haha if want change so tedious, I kinda need the car urgently.
But..but..preve premium so syiok!! The one I test drove, couldn't hear any rattling (maybe not yet? Haha), also I read previously ppl said if stop uphill, car will slightly reverse, where got? response ok la where got sluggish (or maybe my feeling), hopefully exec is not as well. my first car was subaru b4 gt 2001 when I was in New Zealand. Anyway, I'm new member, been reading this forum since last week, so nice got many infos from sifu2. Hehe. Hopefully will get my white exec next week. |

My Bosch unit has been very reliable so far. I hear more issues for the new Blaupunkt unit, although has advantage of bigger screen. |

I just got my Preve CFE Premium. Now reaching 500km, and I noticed:
1) Sound of air leak at left rear passenger side during speeding more than 90kmph 2) Car like swinging/goyang/hayun at 70kmph-100kmph 3) Car swinging/goyang/hayun again while braking from >60kmph to 0kmph. Did anyone experience one of this? I'm a bit worry because the car is still very new. A week old. And got some more question. I got an SD card with the latest pre-installed GPS but it seems doesn't fit into the Blaupunkt audio video unit. The slot is a bit smaller. Asked my agent, he said that I can change it at any Proton service center for free. Is it true? And I want to ask, the steering, does it illuminates at dark? Like Inspira? Mine doesn't. |

But, is it possible to do the alignment and balancing before my first service due? Does it interrupt with my warranty later on? |

Recently start to feel this goyang during braking (suspect uneven disc brake) ~17xxxKM Thanks. -Preve Premium 2015- |
