is it me or Preve power steering damn heavy

-Almera E (lightest)
-Bettle 1.4 (heavier)
-E-Class AMG package W212 (light)
-Iriz (light)

so yea..
when i test drive e-class. i turn left/right..super light..then i drive back my preve..feel heavy

That's something unheard of. Power connectors loose at the back?

My Bosch unit has been very reliable so far. I hear more issues for the new Blaupunkt unit, although has advantage of bigger screen.

I just got my Preve CFE Premium. Now reaching 500km, and I noticed:

1) Sound of air leak at left rear passenger side during speeding more than 90kmph
2) Car like swinging/goyang/hayun at 70kmph-100kmph
3) Car swinging/goyang/hayun again while braking from >60kmph to 0kmph.

Did anyone experience one of this? I'm a bit worry because the car is still very new. A week old.

And got some more question. I got an SD card with the latest pre-installed GPS but it seems doesn't fit into the Blaupunkt audio video unit. The slot is a bit smaller. Asked my agent, he said that I can change it at any Proton service center for free. Is it true?

And I want to ask, the steering, does it illuminates at dark? Like Inspira? Mine doesn't.

Yes, add extra layer of weather/rubber strip (I suggest change), that should reduce the noise.
Preve front windscreen (PW930754) is RM 521.78 (incl GST). I'm not sure which electronic sensor they quoted, but perhaps it is the rain sensor (300+), and also there's mounting and bonding part.

You should get a detailed quote to know which parts need to be replaced.

Does your power window switch panel bulge up too when the window is fully up? Again, I was told by SC that that's the way it is for Preve and Suprima.

guys, is it normal for preve rain wipers to stop when the car stops?
how to disable this? Sometimes i stop at junction, i cannot see the road because the wiper also stops or slow down. This is dangerous. can SC disable this for me?

Sent my Preve in for 1.5 yr service.

After having the ESC faulty error for 1.5 years, now they finally fixed it (I hope!). Said they have adjusted the steering wheel. Have suggested to them to check with their HQ, get the error messages from the computer (eg adjust steering wheel?).Will test it out.

My car GPS is still not fixed yet. Position will remain stagnant while the car is moving. Said about refer to service book and replacing the software. Any one has similar experience with faulty GPS and they replaced the software? Hope that it will be latest GPS software and free under warranty!

Like to know what types of special engine oil we can add to Preve Turbo to improve the engine performance (smoother drive). Appreciate feedback from those who have used it. One type is banned by Proton due to the breakdown of the oil at high temp in the turbo part.

I cannot really say that the perceived reduced power in acceleration at the higher-end spectrum ie. around 160 km/h onwards as I rarely push the car. I only do it occasionally (pushing the car up to 200 km/h), say once or twice a year when the conditions are favorable, just to test the capability of the engine/car and just to make sure the engine is working fine.

I am aware that the Preve Turbo can achieve above 200 km/h (tested 205 km/h top speed) albeit a slight struggle from 180 km/h to 200 km/h, though the car can still accelerate to 200 km/h, slowly. But this time round, it's serious struggle from 170 km/h to 180 km/h, and the needle stayed at 180 km/h for a long time although I kept pushing, hence I stopped pushing.

Not sure if the engine oil is overfilled but will ask the service centre to check when I send my car in during the next appointment. I have complained on the defective driver's seat, and when the seat is available for replacement, I will tell them to check on the engine oil, and maybe ask them to clean the throttle body(if possible), citing the unrefined engine and lack of power in acceleration.

What is the best tablet mount for Preve/Suprima S?

Do you need to stick the metal/magnet sticker thing on the phone or tablet? What about the GPS of the tablet, does it screw that one?

Is it possible for you to upload the pic of the nexus and mount in action? I want to know how much space it takes.

recently just changed tyres from GT Radial to Michelin Primacy 3 ST.. huge difference between these 2.. very quiet now for my preve turbo 2014..

Also, i knew the root cause for the wind noise from rear left C pillar there.. it's C pillar small window there.. i put 2 play-doh type of sticky gam over there, problem solved.. no more wind noise.. paired with my new michelin tyres, the car is alive once again..

After 1 month equipped with OCT.. OMG!!

Revert back all to normal, dismantle OCT, GC, E-DRIVE, ZAPTOR.. tomorrow go to SC for service maintenance.
