Nope nothing happened to me so far.

here some proof...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJ6MnBPhvzM

see the video... actually been running that kind of speed from Rawang. The video ends in Tapah....

CVT3 transmission, wth Boost Spring and German Sausage Mods....Mileage of the car is around 4000km that time, CVT fluids onl changed at 60,000kkm.... original fluid in the CVt is RED replacement is BLUE
*
Good to know that the CVT of your car is still going strong with frequent high speed cruising.

The German Sausage modification, is it the replacement of the original large black-coloured hose to the Turbo engine with a combination of blue-coloured hose + steel hose?

So you have used a different CVT oil (blue colour) to replace the original CVT oil (red colour)?

Try accelerating on sandy surface.... accelerate means pedal to the metal from rest...

mine is a cvt. even if i pedal to metal, it would do much because the car still slow bai.
anyway, i will try on sand. But i feel worried becoz i seen other preve cars, even driving over puddles of water, the esc light came on. mine doesnt.

Hi sifu, I just got a new preve turbo and I am currently facing some issue. When I park my car where gear in P sometimes I can't shift my gear out of P and need to restart car 2 times then OK. Currently its happen 7 out of 10 times I park my car. Any sifu hare face the same issue. BTW I will send the car to service centre
*
Another quality-related issue which I do not experience in my Preve Turbo which is 3 years 1 month old. Minor problems with my car :-

1. Plastic piece on gear knob came out
2. Engine automatically shutting down when reversing the car (very rare, so far less than 5 times in 3 years).

Major problem is the gearbox of my car recently broke down.

another question, about ICE for preve. if poor fag like me and only can upgrade parts by parts, should we upgrade the HU or the speakers first? I dont need loud subwoofers (bass). but the sound quality of stock audio system is quite poor. mine is the non-touch HU without brand or specs. anyone know where we can find the specs of our stock speakers and HU please?

By the way, I was told the cost of the gearbox of the Preve Turbo is RM17,000. The Proton Inspira's gearbox is costlier at RM24,000. Luckily still under warranty.

Next thing I need to find out is what items are covered under the 3-year warranty and 5-year warranty. The 5-year warranty is very sketchy, as i understand there are very few items covered under the 5-year warranty.

German Sausage = adding cable tie zip in the stock rubber intercooler hose...

Replacement CVT Fluid in SC is blue color = no choice.
I think Red color CVT fluid is installed in Orriginal CVT3, CVT3+ is using blue color.

Usually it is both HU and speakers, and it is true the audio quality of the Preve is very poor. Non-touch HU? I thought the screen on the Preve is touch-screen? The low-spec Preve does not come with a touch-screen?

Usually it is the bass that defines the quality of the sound/music. You may not need thumping bass if you don't listen to techno music but for most music, it is the bass lines that carry the music, apart from the midrange. IN other words, bass is important if you want good audio quality, and there is a severe lack of bass in the current audio system of the Preve Turbo.

Not sure what is a cable tie zip. But it appears that the stock rubber hose to the Turbo engine is not replaced with something else. I was told by the mechanic at COE that some owners had replaced the stock (black-coloured) rubber hose to the Turbo engine with a combination of blue-coloured hose and steel hose.

Warranty is based on time (years) not mileage (kilometres). The gearbox on my car was replaced under warranty as when I send the car to the service centre, it was exactly 3 years from the day I bought the car, maybe several days earlier. I am not sure if the gearbox is covered under the 5-year warranty, but in my case, the gearbox was covered under warranty.

Probably your brake switch has a problem. The gear lock needs to sense the brakes being pressed to release.

I never triggered ESC light by ESC itself. If you do, you're violently throwing the car.

I seen the ESC light due to traction control, easily triggered at wet car parks.

yes, my exec version dont have touchscreen, only the 2-din HU full of buttons in front. No brands or anything, hard to google the specs, sad sad.gif I have looked around, 2-din HU are usually expensive (near 1k for non-china). That is why i prefer not to upgrade this first. Besides, I kinda enjoy the bluetooth phone calling and pairing with music player on our android phones. So i thought whether it would make a big difference if i only upgrade to better speakers? or maybe add a 2-channel (or 4 channel if its not big diff in price) amp?

I can guess that your inlet hose is replaced. That hose needs replacement once in a while because of exposure to blow-by gasses that rejoins intake for emission purpose. If you do not care about emission and want reliability, then use oil catch tank. Luckily you have replaced the intake hose soon enough. If it has broken, sand particles can erode your turbo fin plus wear engine parts.

However I cannot agree to the technician's argument that replacing the intake hose will cause more leakages due to being more direct.

after 6 month of driving without problem, now my steering button does not respond. so have to manually use the HU to change volume or chanel/track.

call SC, need to make appointment or workday. even though the SC is open on weekend.

any advise for this or did somebody already experience this.
