Changed my old router to be an access point.

I see. Alright then. Will try changing routers.

Btw, how good is homeplug? Is it as fast as direct modem connection?

i'm using 2 homeplug, both plug connectivity seems stable (always Green)
Internet connection is as good as direct LAN connection from a switch/router. no issue streaming 1080p MKV from my NAS to my TV in the living room.

p/s : mine is Aztech 500Mbps homeplug by the way.FYI, old house wiring might affect the perfomance

Well, I posted this attachment yesterday, but I am reposting it here in case you missed it.

Just look at the speedtest result and you can see yourself the comparison between wireless, HomePlug & Ethernet cable.

They need to put quota on paper. But reality is unlimited. Has been unlimited that way for years. But well, who knows till when it last.

Try this 1200Mbps AV2 protocol. Use all 3 LNE wires for communication.

I'm using Aztech HomePlug AV HL-113EP (200 Mbps). This is good enough.

However, I believe the AV standard is phasing out and you most likely will see the HomePlug AV2 (500 Mbps) ones being sold now.
