I really don't know how to deal with this. Any advice guys? Really cannot get 30Mbps via WiFi?

If that's the case and they still upgraded mine and I can't use it, I will complain to MCMC.

You can get a reasonably good router (ASUS/TPlink) for ~about rm150 thru lazada/rakuten after getting discount from voucher & CC's CB.

Currently I have no issue with my WiFi, always around 11Mbps up and down on my VIP10. It's pretty stable for me. sad.gif
Sigh, do I really need to?
I don't know how to install, I always have problems with router. Always have to spend 1-2days to figure which part went wrong. laugh.gif

Get one which is preconfigured for UNIFI, or get to know a techie friend who can help. tongue.gif

Your Ambank's CB can easily cover this expense. tongue.gif Or go and look for more CB.

Thanks for the advice but the fact is I rent a room and my router is in my room, I use WiFi only when I'm on the bed which is less than 1.5m away from router (maximum). Else, my laptop is just right next to my router. laugh.gif
That's the reason why I can get full 11Mbps on my current VIP10.

To cut cost just buy a 5m LAN cable which allows u to wired-access from any corner of your room, when u think wifi access is no good. tongue.gif

I have rented a 2-storey house(B) directly opposite my house(A) to use as my home office. The 2 houses are separated by a 20ft wide road. Currently I have vip10 installed. How can I share my VIP10(& phone) across the road? Distance from Point-to-point is ~120ft.

My aunty house get upgraded from VIP10 to 30mbps at RM199 with ruby pack and maintain free calls hmm.gif

So it is better I take the VIP5 with basic Hypptv+freefall n then few month later upgrade to the same package like your aunt's

not talking cock but wolf-in-sheepskin. icon_rolleyes.gif plain-cloth agent? Sorry if it hurts your ricebowl.

That was to show how UNIFI has progressed compare to our neighbourly red-dot, far-far behind.

i'm using 2 homeplug, both plug connectivity seems stable (always Green)
Internet connection is as good as direct LAN connection from a switch/router. no issue streaming 1080p MKV from my NAS to my TV in the living room.

p/s : mine is Aztech 500Mbps homeplug by the way.FYI, old house wiring might affect the perfomance
*
Which Aztech model and both ends same type of homeplug?

Well, I posted this attachment yesterday, but I am reposting it here in case you missed it.

Just look at the speedtest result and you can see yourself the comparison between wireless, HomePlug & Ethernet cable.
