Thank you. Did you have to show payslip etc?
*
yes, payslips and banking statements to show that you have been receiving salary. just register your interests at hong leong bank website and they will contact you and walk you thru the process.

no payslip is needed if you are getting credit card backed by fixed deposits. on the application form, you can strike out the income and employment section.

Just went to maybank to convert, but they don't let me to cause im having IPP in my MBB

Just check, my OCBC is GE, not blue card. But still.... don't know why just feel that CIMB is damn hard to apply for the cash rebate card
*
I thought once you opt to convert, all your EPP will be terminated ( early settlement and transferred to your new card).

Unless it's EPP done via Merchant, which I have no experience in early settlement.

And CIMB that CR card, I got approved for it using my 1st employment income, which is barely exceeding the 24k PA barrier.

Surely there are other factors which caused your applications to be rejected.

For alternative, try UOB Vox.

Correction: 10x RM50
Yes, online transactions also contribute into the 10x swipes, as long as it exceeds RM49.99.

Thank you for your advise. Is there a minimum amount of fixed deposit needed?

then you shouldn't put 60k-100k.
anyway, you have some choices depending of your monthly expenses in each category. you need to check your priority to maximise your cashback.
mbb ikhwan, cimb cr plat = af free for life
uob one, aeon watami = af can be waived
hlb wise = af covered by high cashback

Petrol - Ikhwan MBB

Online - UOB Vox or CIMB CR

Dining - HLB Mach/Wise or MBB Amex

Insurance - Lump to Aeon Watami if huge amount

Broadband / postpaid - HLB wise if you plan to mix it up with dining and etc.

Or you can get a MBB VS for higher capping of petrol and PBB Vs for online. Best combo already.

Both can be obtained via FD if you are interested.

Let me rephrase, he did nothing wrong. This is based on second post template, the range is from 60k-100k. He jut put it. 70k-80k also within 60k-100k right?
How would he know so much of things?

If you can show proof of your 20k rental income, bank might consider.

Some "genius" banks don't, in my experience.

ehhh... define "genius"... haha

Can, gt tenancy agreement and even bank statement to support tat it being banked in monthly... can give a try perhaps... as the pbb vs 6% seems a good deal which wise 10% is complicated thn MBB2card no longer good...
