1. Annual Income: RM36K to RM60K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: not necessary if it can be waived with condition

3. Card required for: Petrol, Telco

4. Existing credit cards if any: Maybank 2 Cards Gold (RIP), Aeon Watami Visa, AEON New Gold Visa

5. Looking at CC from: not sure

6. Others: My main expenses now are Petrol and Telco. Followed by Pharmacy/Groceries. Maybank 2 Cards has been the only card for the expenses I mentioned but it's worthless now except for occasional Dining.

*Is there any more "hybrid" card besides Maybank 2 Cards (Points + Cashback) and AEON Watami (Cashback + Points) on the market?

Thanks a lot.

what's your average spend amount for each category: Petrol, Telco, Pharmacy, Grocery?

if you can accept HLB Wise's AF (year 2 onwards, year 1 is waived), then choose this card for Petrol+Grocery+Telco.

to tackle your Pharmacy (if Watson's)... HLB Wise (Grocery) -> Reload TnG @ Jaya Grocer (refer this topic) -> Pay using TnG @ Watson's.

Yes, you can do that. In fact most of us here pay it this way in order to increase the count.

Update: unifi payment does not get rewarded with wise card.

tq for the info.. will apply for wise card then. thumbup.gif

Maybank Visa Signature, if you can satisfy the RM50K annual spending for annual fee waiver.
Cash back on Petrol and Groceries at 5% everyday up to RM88 cap per month. Other expenses eligible for points, double if overseas.

How much are you expecting? Most of the banks give RM 50. sweat.gif That's also most of the banks are revising the benefits, enjoy while you can.

Else you can see HLB Wise but you will need to swipe RM 50 x 10 to activate cash back.

You are not their only customer. laugh.gif Most of the users pay in full and on time, basically they don't really earn a lot. smile.gif

You can try MBB Visa Signature, income requirement is 100k per annum. It gives 88 bucks cash back.

FYI, loans cannot be paid with credit cards.

TM / Astro / Maxis (not sure thou) = UOB Vox

Hotel = CIMB for promotions, or else can get Aeon Watami if you can stack up to 3k for 3 month

Maxis = HLB Wise, if you are disciplined enough

Insurance = Lump it to Aeon Watami as well.
