can also consider MACH card from HongLeong subsidiary, but there is a clause for 12x spending to auto waive the annual fee. Good for movies, trendy shoppings and dining.

I think using the card 12 times a year isn't a problem. Thanks a lot!

Guys im looking to sign up for a credit card.

Annual income : RM42k
Age : 25
Existing CC : None
Primary Usage : Online CC Purchase

Been using Maybank2u to pay all this while. Just want to set some credit history. Looking for 1 without annual fee and if possible some cash back on online CC transaction.

You may consider two below:
- CIMB CashBack card Platinum
No annual fee, capped RM30 rebate for online category

- UOB VOX Card
Monthly fee RM6, it can be waive in one transaction, capped RM50 rebate

You didn't mention cash back for which categories. For PPL, you can apply AEON BiG, AEON Gold, AmBank VS or/and AmBank Plat.

On another note, any specific reasons to apply Visa Ikhwan, AmEx Charge Card? unsure.gif

For Visa Ikhwan: My 1st CC. Dunno, just signup cause 8X point on Groceries (I run Restaurant)

Amex Charge Card: I like the design only: like those free fake paper card that we get whenever we buy Wallet in pasar Malam. Just for the sake of memory. LOL.

I am hunting for more benefit and promotion and as collector (starting). Sad as Citibank reject.

My annual income only 85k, still can apply for Ambank VS?

Thanks!!!

If you are collecting non useful cards, then your chances to get other cards will be reduced. Well, not all the time but it does affect somehow.

AmBank VS' salary requirement is only 80k per annum.

You can also print CCRIS to check out if anything wrong.

Statement balance is what you ought to pay in order to avoid interest.

Outstanding balance is the total credit usage as of the system update.
