1. Annual Income: 30k

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: If possible?

3. Card required for: Petrol monthly(RM400), groceries shopping, food and beverages.

4. Existing credit cards if any: No

5. Looking at CC from: Friends recommend me to apply Citibank.

6. Others: I wanted to apply credit card is because I can use it when I pump petrol, When i go to groceries shopping when i didn't brought enough cash. When emergency cases when my ATM cards cannot be use or when nearby ATM spoil. So I'm looking for a CC that can benefit me abit.

Thanks!

Since you looking for one credit card if possible for all rebate, how about CIMB Cash Rebate Platinum MasterCard ?

Rebate for all your spending items
- Petrol = 2%
- Groceries - 2%
- Food/beverages = 0.2%

And annual fee: Waived, refer HERE

Guys im looking to sign up for a credit card.

Annual income : RM42k
Age : 25
Existing CC : None
Primary Usage : Online CC Purchase

Been using Maybank2u to pay all this while. Just want to set some credit history. Looking for 1 without annual fee and if possible some cash back on online CC transaction.

You may consider two below:
- CIMB CashBack card Platinum
No annual fee, capped RM30 rebate for online category

- UOB VOX Card
Monthly fee RM6, it can be waive in one transaction, capped RM50 rebate

As mentioned by the experts here, we cannot use credit card to reload BIG Prepaid MasterCard.

Thus, I have to rely on the combination of AEON Credit Card plus Online Cash Back Card, so that I can gain cashback on miscellaneous purchases which are usually not given cashback by other credit cards.

I am currently undecided on which AEON Credit Card or AEON BiG Credit Card that I should choose.
1. Annual Income: RM 60K. Willing to accept card with lower credit limit, as long as the benefits from the card are worthy.

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Preferable. Card with annual fee can be acceptable, if the annual fee can be offset with the card benefits.

3. Card required for: Dining, clothing (Uniqlo and H&M), and other miscellaneous purchases which are not given cashback by other credit cards.

4. Existing credit cards if any: Hong Leong Wise Card, Maybank 2 Cards, Maybank Islamic MasterCard Ikhwan Card, UOB VOX Card.

5. Looking at CC from: AEON Credit Card or AEON BiG Credit Card.

6. Others: Prefer cashback, but points is acceptable, if the points are worthy.

Thanks. smile.gif

May consider HL Mach Card for dining & Uniqlo purchased

1. Annual Income: RM60K to RM100K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Preferable

3. Card required for: Online purchase. Flight ticket purchase(90% AirAsia & 10% International)

4. Existing credit cards if any: Maybank Ikhwan Visa & Amex Plat

5. Looking at CC from: No preference. Cash Advance is a must.

6. Others: Prefer cashback over points.

Note: I saw Bank Simpanan Nasional(BSN) heavily marketed their CC at my area. Not sure why I couldn't find any discussion regarding BSN CC in LYN. No good?

For online purchased, you may look for
- Public Bank Visa Signature
- UOB VOX Card

Hmm..HLB Mach..5% for dining and 2% on style. Is there any other cards?

1. Annual Income: RM80K.

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Preferable.

3. Card required for: Cashback (must)
Mainly used for general expenditure like insurance, condo maintenance, kids daycare..

4. Existing credit cards if any: Maybank 2 cards, Pbb &  Maybank visa signature, cimb cash rebate Mastercard, Alliance younique

5. Looking at CC from: Any

6. Others: Looking to maximize my cashback for general spending since the alliance younique rebate is approaching max every month and I foresee more general expenses coming in the near future. My other cards already give me cashback on petrol, groceries, utility and telcos bills etc. Need this recommendation for spending on the other categories since no more OCBC titanium unlimited 1% cashback.

Thanks.

You may consider SCB Gold CashBack Card

Direct way:

HLB Fortune Card if can spend RM2000/month
Indirect Way:

AEON/AEON Big card to pay , then use online rebate cards (YOLO, CIMB Cash Rebate, PBB Visa Signature) to pay thru POSOnline (pay 2.12% fee to contra with 5/6% cashback from the credit card used to pay).

Exclusive way:

If AIA insurance, apply HLB AIA card for 2% rebate (I think).

Should be referring to PBB AIA Card ??

1. Annual Income: RM90-95K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Must

3. Card required for: Petrol, movies, online shopping, grocery,

4. Existing credit cards if any: Mainly use Maybank 2 card Platinum and OCBC Titanium

5. Looking at CC from: Any bank

6. Others: Thinking of signing up for the GSC Hong Leong for movies solely but thinking of a card that covers more, maybe Mach by HL?

Thanks.
*
Instead of singing up for the HL GSC card, suggest that you can look for HL Mach card for movie 10%

Currently holding both cards, seldom use HL GSC card already since I have already add on for movie category in my HL Mach card
