Try Aeon Credit Card, especially if you purchase groceries from Aeon. 2% rebate for online if not mistaken.
*
2% online rebate is Aeon Big Visa. Aeon Credit card doesnt have any online rebate.

QUOTE(jocelyn617 @ Jul 11 2016, 12:50 PM)
UOB One Visa card, 5% rebate for petrol on weekends, another 3% if BHP.
Online shopping can use OCBC Blue/Pink Mastercard 1% rebate

Good to have one Visa one Master, in case the system is down etc.
*
UOB One Visa gives 5% petrol rebate on weekend, 2% on weekdays, additional 2% smart$ everyday.

Hi, currently I'm holding:
1. AmBank CARz
2. Hong Leong Essential, GSC, Mach, Wise
3. HSBC Amanah
4. Maybank 2 Gold Card
5. UOB One, Vox
6. Standard Chartered Business Gold

I need one more card to get cash rebate for every retail spending. Apart from HLB Essential, OCBC Great Eastern, which else offers that?

Look like it is very similar to HLB Essential before it adjusted the cash back scheme. I'm wondering why HLB launched two cards with similar benefit. What's the difference between them? Any catch for Fortune card? Look likes too good to be true. hmm.gif

Edited:
From the TnC, seem likes we need to spend at least RM2k to get the cash rebate. My spending is not that much, less than 1k per month. Any other card to recommend?

Alliance You:nique if your spending around RM3k a month. Average out about 1.67% rebate base on RM3k usage

I already applied for PETRONAS Maybank Visa, and just realize most of the ppl recommend Ikhwan. I'm up for any suggestion so i can cancel the first application.

1.Annual Income: RM36K to RM60K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Yes please

3. Card required for: Petrol (Pump pretty much anywhere) , grocery, online shopping (if possible)

4. Existing credit cards if any: Nil

5. Looking at CC from: Maybank. Can consider others.

6. Others: Point and cashback is nice, but for now just trying to create credit report.

Edit: I dont see any diffrence between ikhwan and petronas maybank? Sifus please shed some light.

For a start, Ikhwan gives cashback for groceries.

You can also consider Aeon Big credit card.

Big difference. sweat.gif

Ikhwan Petronas Visa is only good for collecting treatspoints if you pump at Petronas stations and 8x TP shop for groceries every weekend.

Ikhwan MasterCard gives cash back (max RM 50 per month) for petrol and groceries on Fridays and Saturdays.

If you ask me, I prefer cash over TP.

You don't need to cancel your application, just ask them to change it to Maybank Ikhwan MasterCard, if it is approved already, just convert your Petronas Visa to Ikhwan MC.

Online shopping, can consider CIMB Cash Rebate or/and UOB VOX. Check out respective threads for information.
