No man. AA doesn't kill performance in Fallout 4. It isn't using MSAA at all. Just temporal AA of which is post processed, doesn't affect performance significantly.

What kills performance is godrays and shadow distance.

Actually what kills the performance is Shadow Distance only... Putting it to Ultra makes my FPS drop to 30-40s even when the GPU usage is only ~60%..

Actually Fallout 4 GPU is really bad optimize. The graphic is like revised from Fallout 3 but hurt the performance so much. Even open world game like GTA5/MGS 5/AC:Syndicate(turn off nvidia gimpwork) will get better fps with better graphic compare to Fallout 4.

MSI should make this card like new Gigabyte GTX 980 Ti Waterforce. Use WC to cool the ram. Max temp I got in this card around 62c-64c. Change to push pull noctua fan got around 50c-55c. But VRAM is to hot, so the VRAM fan need to ramp up a bit.

Finally got my Fallout 4 updated I am more of a 'physical box' person, and it came with just 1 DVD (5GB data)

Hope to get some nice solid performance out of my 970 GPU.

Only console games i go boxy but if PC steam all the way hahahaha digital is the future

Actually there's a SLI profile for Rainbow Six Siege.. It's not working because the new R6siege exe (rainbowsix.exe) shares the same profile as old Rainbow six game.

Need to fix using NVIDIA inspector.
