Teng Sir, sorry to hear that but I didn't have any issue dealing with the EM lawyers and they did give out their mobile numbers to me but I suspect this is up to the legal/lawyers practise. Do note that EW's usual practise(at least for EM) is that they let different legal firm to manage different projects(Tenderfield, Cradleton and etc).

Hope you get the issue resolved soon.

Lawyer assigned to me by EW on my purchase works quite efficient... From signing SPA till I get the copy of stamped SPA and DMC, takes less than 3 months...

For my case, overall still ok but there are 2 lapses which reflect not so good on them (in terms of professionalism) - 1stly, they have mistakenly sent an email to me which is supposed to be received by another party which is irrelevant to me. 2ndly, if I remembered correctly, I think when I got back my DMC I found 1 or few pages not initialled (which I 100% sure I did initial for every single page) - forgot what explanations given to that but they assured me via email (which I take this form of black and white as good) that no changes in content of the replaced page(s). Other than that so far ok.

Btw, normally they don't give their personal contact. If I were them, I won't give too.

Erm... this reminds me about the initial... My SPA and DMC also don't have my initial on the front pages.. When I ask the lawyer, he said the SPA is standard document, therefore no initial is no problem.. True? hmm.gif hmm.gif

SPA standard doc no issue - but of course the 1st page still contain some info specific to the project. The schedules at the back there are relatively more important.

I got back my SPA by chasing them. However, loan agreement is kind of slow, till now since April haven't received the stamped copy yet. When asked, they said this need to wait till the step they advise as part of the protocol. How is the experience of others in getting the stamped copy of loan agreement for possession? Very fast?

I was told stamped copy loan agreement will only give to purchaser after bank 1st drawn down. Not sure is it Standard procedure or not. I got my stamped SPA, but stamp loan agreement still not yet also.

Different for my case...

My SPA dated 16th June 2014.. Received the stamped copy of SPA and DMC by 17th of July, received the stamped loan agreement on 17 Dec 2014.. First drawdown by the bank 10th April 2015...

My understanding is that if the differential sum has been settled and all documents are in order in the sense that advise for disbursement has been made then the loan documents can be sent to the purchasers.

Thanks all for sharing your experience/input.

I wont mention name for now. I actually dont mind if lawyer takes longer time to get SPA done up and sent to me.

I am referring to making purchasers sign the wrong version of Loan Agreement. The problem is not only for purchasers to re-sign it BUT more importantly LA can delay disbursement that could could penalty to purchasers. This is plain schoolboy mistake. And they took century to rectify it. THey even dare to be circuitious here and there. I wasnt really borned yesterday. I dealt with lawyers many times. I dont expect perfection but sincerity in solving issues.

Your lawyer seems awful. Ecoworld should look hard and look hard at it and perhaps if your claims checks out then they should seriously do something about it.

There was some mild grumble about a firm before on this forum, but your experience was far worse.

You mean link it up to Ecohill Link from the Red Carpet? It's "speculated" that Ecohill Link should be open after the Ecohill Rescue Run on 26July. So if this is the case then you should be able to enjoy a smooth ride then.
