Honor Malaysia FB hinting Honor7 with this post


and PLK-L01 passed SIRIM yesterday

based on the latest info from sirim approval,
honor 7 support below these band, so no worries for all
GSM 850/900/1800/1900/3G(900/2100)/LTE(1800/2600)

and looks like the launching in malaysia is not far from now.

Me too, this phone is in my list. Hopefully the price here won't too far off from RM 1k mark.

Maybe Honor 6 Plus drop to RM1099 and the Honor 7 start at RM1399.

Prices in China aldy announced
Huawei will be offering the Honor 7 in three versions
1 - single-SIM model with 16GB storage (RMB 1,999)
2 - dual-SIM model with 16GB storage (RMB 2,199)
3 - 64GB dual-SIM (RMB 2,499).

. so cheapest variant will be around 1.2k base

I think the placement of the fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone and the power button in the middle of its side, is going to make the phone more difficult to use in car holder for GPS navigation.

Navigation will keep the screen awake, thus no need to unlock it. And with double tap to wake feature, its going to be quite convenient.

This phone is quite decent in its own class. Wonder local set will carry dual sim and a separate microsd slot or not. Would be very nice if huawei malaysia carry that.

Lol LG G4 and Note 5 is kinda out of the league if compared to Honor 7 since Honor 7 is more to mid-high end phone

I don't think it's possible to have separate microsd slot. The microsd share the same slot with 2nd Sim slot

iinm, the Honor 6 Plus reveal in China pricing also 1999RMB SingleSIM 16GB variant and Dual4G 32GB variant at 2499RMB. Here end up RM1399.

So if the history tell us something.
1. RMB 1,999 = RM999
2. RMB 2,199 = RM1,199
3. RMB 2,499 = RM1,399

Sounds logic?
Meanwhile, the premium model RMB 2,499 not only come with 64GB Internal Storage, it also come with Gold Color and Fast Charger 9W2.0V with Premium Packaging.

Honor 7 dual sim 16gb = if 2nd sim slot sharing with sd card, then cannot use 2 sims already coz sure need sd card. 16gb now enugh, at least need 32gb

so for ppl using 2 sims, sure need go for premium honor 7 64gb

wow didn't expect it couldn't even match the aging Snapdragon 801 or even 800 in raw processing power.

Adreno 330 also much better than Mali T628MP4.

That Helio X10 Turbo in MX5 is quite good after all but still behind 801 in some aspects

At least Huawei claim their Antenna signal are so great thanks to the super Kirin SoC, I watch the video keynote in their Honor 7.

I remember the DualSIM 4G LTE can be both download/upload at the same time.

That's their only strong spot now.. Reception and stuff..

Cannot be so low for Antutu. My Huawei P8 Kirin 930 also can get around 49k already

But Exynos 7 series is over 60k...

and the rumour nexus5 2015 got 80k

Yeah, in the Honor7 keynote, they use iPhone 6 as their competitor products most of the time instead of any other Android devices.

They claim longer battery life than iPhone 6 in..
- continuously using in 4G in Gaming / Navigation around (40-30% better)
- cooler instead of hot (around 50% cooler)
- faster charging (Honor 7 support QuickCharge 2.0)

They also claims that, their fingerprint sensors is better than anyone out there (include Android OEM) it not only support unlock for security or payment, it also support a lot of gesture movement like those previous OPPO back button. Quicker, More functionality, More Secured (they implement double security on the hardware level)

The only one left I interested the most is the dedicated button for smart personal assistant. Problem is, the one they introduced is for China use, I wonder how does global version work? Google Now?

Can't wait for local release, hope the price ain't too high.
Want to see how the camera can perform.

dont care much about benchmark results. as long as it runs apps smoothly, good enough. combined with a decent camera, responsive and accurate fingerprint scanner, good battery life, this is an excellent device to have.

Snapdragon 801 devices hovering around 44k-45k
but then again snapdragon 801 is already more than a year old.

Kirin 935 has better CPU, but GPU is nowhere near Adreno 330. Can see huge different on heavg games. A task where GPU kicks in.

Confirmed below. Honor 6 last year also unveiled the price at 1999RMB Base model. This time Honor 7 also 1999RMB for the base model.

Nono.... All support fast charge.. The premium one come with gold color option, fast charger (so you don't have to buy separately), dual sim lte (or expandable on 2nd sim) and 64gb internal, premium packaging instead of normal standard one and some huawei premium membership stuff...

Meanwhile I just recheck the keynote I watched. The fingerprint 2.0 by huawei and the smart dedicated button are open for 3rd party developer for apps development....

hmm, i thought i see that from china tech website review that only the high spec version supot fast charge.

maybe you r right, cause u watch the keynote. i still cant find the keynote to watch.

hopefully the 3rd party developer 55 do those before honor7 gets to malaysia la.

Ops. Nope. you are correct. Only the 2499RMB (Premium) got Fast Charging support. You can watch Chinese review, why not download the one I mentioned?

Also, it won't be long for SEA region. European just got confirmed.

look carefully, this unit only supports LTE band 1800 and not 2600. the LTE signal may not be stable which happens to my Dual Sim Honor 6 which only supports LTE band 1800

u are somehow correct, it does not supot for 2600band, but in malaysia most of the telco use 3g band to deploy 4g as well, this will not be a big problem.

you will be frustrated that your 4G signal will just hang there sometimes and not responding at all, you need to manually switch to 3G then move back to 4G.

you paid for a 4G phone, you expect your 4G phone to perform accordingly right?
