androidworld start selling Honor 7 dy?

http://www.lelong.com.my/huawei-honor-7-5-...5-08-Sale-P.htm

RM1999. doh.gif

For those who wants to get a decent dual sim phone, might as well get Mi Note or Honor 6 plus.

base model after conversion shud be around RM1299 right? If I'm not mistaken.

Really interested in the dual sim model. Hope retailers like directd or 1gadget speed up the plan to bring in Honor 7.

If this phone is priced nicely, maybe below 1.3k, it can be killer for Oneplus 2, Mi Note, even the Zen 2 with 64gb variant. drool.gif

Perfect for those looking for dual sim + 3GB RAM device.

But then i seriously doubt it'll be below 1.3k. Coz now Honor 6+ is selling at 1399. If Honor 7 less than 1.3k. Honor is killing it's own sales. laugh.gif Unless Honor 6+ gets a price reduction la. 1099? brows.gif

Honor 6+ RM1399 comes with 64GB.
I think Honor 7 with 16GB maybe a little bit cheaper than Honor 6+.
and Honor 7 with 64GB about the same price as OP2?  blink.gif

well, that's just my opinion.  icon_idea.gif

If Honor 7 16gb is cheaper than Honor 6+, then just shut up and take my money! laugh.gif drool.gif

No it wont go to voicemail. The phone supports dual standby which means both numbers will be active. You can configure at the settings as to which sim will be used for data and which is for calling as in yr main sim.

Im using umobile prepaid data for my second sim and maxis on my first  sim btw. Rm15 per month for 2.7GB data.
*
Meaning in my case, while using Sim B for online browsing, someone call Sim A, the phone will still ring right?

Plan to sign up for umobile's RM28 per month plan. rclxms.gif

any1 coming from Honor 6+?

Other than Kirin chipset, screen size, internal memory, battery and back camera. Any major difference? Which 1 do u prefer?

Is the Honor 7 camera way better than 6+'s dual 8MP camera? hmm.gif

Both 6+ and 7 at 1399 now. 6+ have some advantage such as bigger battery, double internal storage.

Torn within these 2. Deciding factor might be camera performance. Any1 here that has used both phones and compared the camera? hmm.gif

HiSilicon Kirin 935 GPS lock from cold start:

[attachmentid=5075267]  [attachmentid=5075268]

Conclusion: super fast (2 seconds) but not that accurate (8 meters).

Is this with the aid of data? Or only gps hardware?

New Android user...so bare with me smile.gif

Is a there a tool to say the percentage of battery usage (discharge) per hour; similarly battery charge speed per hour

Most of playstore tools measures the current

My average battery temp is 34C and CPU temp is 43C. Is that the norm?
*
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...born.beta&hl=en

U can try this. When u tap the notification, there is a battery chart showing the discharge since unplug per hour. A lot of settings to play with, but I think don't have the battery charge speed per hour.

I think if u do game a bit on ur phone, and u wan reliable GPS, can go for G8. If u wan best bang for buck, go for Honor 7. thumbup.gif

But what camera sensor is the G8 using eh? Been google-ing around, but there seems to be no information on it's camera sensor. rclxub.gif

Went to Hua Wei outlet in shopping mall to test the Honor 7 but they said there isn't any display set.
How come the launch of this phone is so secretive? You dont expect ppl to buy without testing the phone right?
*
Honor is under Huawei, but Huawei's strategy to sell Honor is via online sales (aka vmall.com), which kinda explains why Honor is cheaper, coz no physical shops, less advertisement.

While Huawei's strategy to sell it's own in-house phone (like the Huawei G8, P8, Mate 7) is via retail shops. And also Huawei spend a lot on advertisement on their own Huawei phones. Which also explains why the Huawei line is more expensive than Honor line.
