QUOTE(ilovinlt @ Sep 11 2015, 11:27 AM) very disappointed with the camera... no OIS... if using Snapdragon processor i will think about it...and emui need to improve more fix the bugs OIS alone doesn't make good photo, try comparing iPhone 6 with no OIS and iPhone 6+ with OIS .. they have identical results. QUOTE(Rolland @ Sep 23 2015, 04:10 PM) Hey guys, Just registered for the pre-order. I read a few review on Huawei Kirin chipset's graphic chip Mali728-MP4 performance for 3D gaming. They all comment that it is bad. But i am curious how bad is bad? Bad till unable to play game like modern combat, real racing? I am quite confuse now, as should i upgrade my entry level phone every 2 years ( i m now using moto G 2013 ), or one shot pay installment for a flagship that cost more than 2k and hope that it can last 3 to 4 years? ( probably Note 5 or LG G4 ) As with the incident with Oppo find 7 recently, my friend bought one 1789, 10 months ago. Now it was having a sales at 998 a few week back. He rush to bought a S2 at 2200 four years back and it is unusable today. Sincerely hope to hear your opinion. :-) Depends on individual and usage. U ask old uncle even Nokia 3310 can use until today. U ask gadget freaks 6 months already old fashioned and end of life lol I use to change phone every month and at one time 1 month change 4 phones.. Now cut down already and for me Snapdragon 801 and above phones doesn't make any difference in real world performance, it all depends on optimisation of the software.

QUOTE(Effy92 @ Sep 27 2015, 12:05 AM) Nervous liaw You phone collector? Or you sell all your phone No but sometimes itchy then change. I guess at one time looking for the 'perfect' phone but there never will be so just settle with the best to your taste and requirement. For me the sweet spot for price vs performance are the Snapdragon 801 series phones.. Mostly last year flagship and selling at half the price now, still better all around CPU and gpu performance compared to Mediatek and Kirin which both lags in the graphics. Examples are Oneplus One, Oppo N7, LG G3, Htc One M8. Sometimes if still new you don't lose much and you may be able to swap for free. Eg iPhone 6+ similar pricing with Note 5 so both owners may want to swap if they get bored. This post has been edited by DannyOP: Sep 27 2015, 01:35 AM

QUOTE(Effy92 @ Sep 27 2015, 12:49 PM) Yeah feel that too when changing, always miss the previous phone. Your opinion open my eyes now. Seems the flagship oppo find 7 spec really bang for buck now. got QHD display . Web browsing must be gooding compare to honor 7. But my next preference phone is metal body and gooding camera. Im not playing games in phone. Agree that. Swapping phone before new flagship comes out is a good idea without losing too much. Updated: Just called satu gadget & directd, oppo find 7 rm998 out of stock already Lowyat plaza Oppo still have stock, as well as Lazada. Lenovo Zuk Z1 also a good buy with 4100mah Snapdragon 801 and Cynogenmod and 64GB ram & Sony Xperia M5 / C5 Ultra as well are good competitor for Honor 7. QUOTE(deadravel @ Sep 29 2015, 09:50 PM) if money is not an issue for u , then go for mi note, the specs and design is better in every way. only lacking the finger print sensor. The Mi Note looks like a nicer version of the Note 5 without any protruding camera and the 2.5d curve behind is uniform. Honor 7 also is an improvement over Honor 6 which looked cheap due to the fake metal borders. From the pics it looks like a mini Mate 7. Only downside is the poor graphics performance which only on par with midrange phones using Snapdragon 615. If Huawei manage to improve on this future phones will be a no brainer. Now it is only for people who doesn't utilise graphics.

Is there a way to bypass the finger print scanner? If someone steals your phone, can they bring it to a phone shop to reformat the system and use it? I lost a few phones in the past number of years.. just wondering if the new range of finger print scanner phones will make it useless for people to steal phones?

QUOTE(azeemzuhair @ Oct 3 2015, 12:35 PM) Only iP6 and above series has the permanent locking mechanism should you lost your phone. All android devices still can be hard reset to delete the finger-print ID database. Alternatively, can flash stock/custom ROM to delete the database. Thanks for your info, damn... I'm not a fan of iPhones unfortunately. Can't think of paying RM4k+ for a phone which can be used to feed a family for a month unless sponsored by my co lol This post has been edited by DannyOP: Oct 3 2015, 01:16 PM
