This news (a bit slow i know) will really turn Kundang into a well known town.. it will bring better infrastructure to the inner kundang where currently streetlights road conditions leave much to be desired. With the connection to aeon rawang (long overdue- MPS is basically sleeping), there should be more activities at this part of KV.

Kundang area will be well developed.

Also to add into this thread for future reference. Last week i managed to try to commute from GG to Menara TM using public transportation.

I have tried multiple method:

Preferred: KTM Kuang > KL Sentral > LRT Kerinchi (1 hour)

KTM Kuang > MRT Sungai Buloh > MRT Muzium > LRT Kerinchi (1 hour 10 minutes) but lazy to change a lot of train

MRT Sungai Buloh > Mrt Muzium > LRT Kerinchi (45 minutes) exclude commute to MRT SB which is obviously jammed.

My advice for future owner is to use KTM Kuang which is less crowded and can breakfast happily at Kuang without crowd. Also point to add, I know KTM now is having 30 minutes frequency, but lets just hope the project KVDT (double track) will be finished faster as when this is finished, we will have a KTM train that are 10 minute frequency.

Nice to know. GGin earlier years mentioned they will provide feeder buses to kuang but these things are fluid...

But good that Gamuda has a larger presence here. Kundang is really raw haha

As a long time user of KTM from 2000s to 2013(when i got my first car), anything After KTM Sg.Buloh towards KL is sardine pack, change to MRT for more comfort, but changing so many trains is bunch of hassle.

But taking KTM nowadays still have risk of delay and cancellations.
I still remember vividly that the 6AM train cancelled and the next train is 7AM

The platform from 10s of peoples become 100s of peoples in a span of 1 hour.

But i guess Kuang should be still not that bad compared to Sg. Buloh / Kepong Sentral / Kepong Station

I am not fully sure since you have a lot of experience than me haha, but based on last week straight 5 days, it was not bad because KTM Kuang is not crowded and 5 out of 5 days I managed to have a seat until KL Sentral. It is agreeable after KTM Sungai Buloh will get crowded a bit, but not like LRT Putra.

In terms of delay, 4 out of 5 days is punctual, only 1 day not punctual from KL Sentral, got delay 10 minutes. But I do agree with you is to change to MRT Sungai Buloh for better frequencies and lesser risk. Kuang is good, ample parking space even if you're late. Got a lot of Malay, Mamak & Chinese stall for breakfast and surprisingly cheap wor. I kind of like what KTM Kuang as what it is right now and I should enjoy this before it gets crowded after many houses complete here.

I can't wait when the KVDT KTM project is finished in 2025 to see the differences..

Last time, Sg. buloh is considered "ulu", and Kuang was nowhere "exists" in the map. Hence the cheap food.
Rawang is the "far city"

Nowadays the title "ulu" already went many many stations away liao. Sg buloh is developed and crowded, and Kuang is transforming into a modern town soon and Rawang is over-developed.

Yeah, enjoy the cheap food you have now. Might can last for 5 years before someone bring in something hype to jack-up the living cost all around.

Cool! Which part of GG do you live to be able to see DLK ? DLK should be ready by aug. They will need to build the new road as well as the retention pool.

My dad purchased Rumah Selangorku inside Gamuda Gardens since he's working on Construction project in KL for 8 years now, so he decided to purchase since he's eligible to do so. The RSKU Unit - Danau Ria has completed and I already moved in last year together with my father.

The unit I purchased is Illaria which is a terrace house inside Gamuda as well.

So the one I can see DLK from my house is Danau Ria, because my unit is on the very top floor and I can see very close the progress of DLK and also other project from my balcony..

Petrol station - supposed to build a Petron station near the GG u-turn area eons ago but nothing materialised until now, not sure what the issue is

ATM - supposed to have an ATM machine soon at the GG sales gallery/waterfront area, still nothing materialised despite the signboard showing 'ATM' already placed long time ago

I think the closest petrol station is the one at Shell BCH / Petronas BTP. One can also go to the Petronas at LATAR but that requires you to reverse illegally along the exit of the station.
