Kundang area will be well developed.

Also to add into this thread for future reference. Last week i managed to try to commute from GG to Menara TM using public transportation.
I have tried multiple method:

Preferred: KTM Kuang > KL Sentral > LRT Kerinchi (1 hour)

KTM Kuang > MRT Sungai Buloh > MRT Muzium > LRT Kerinchi (1 hour 10 minutes) but lazy to change a lot of train

MRT Sungai Buloh > Mrt Muzium > LRT Kerinchi (45 minutes) exclude commute to MRT SB which is obviously jammed.

My advice for future owner is to use KTM Kuang which is less crowded and can breakfast happily at Kuang without crowd. Also point to add, I know KTM now is having 30 minutes frequency, but lets just hope the project KVDT (double track) will be finished faster as when this is finished, we will have a KTM train that are 10 minute frequency.
*
How much is the parking rate at KTM Kuang? And how frequent are the trains during the morning peak hours (towards KL)? Last time only 2 trains within 7am ~ 8.30am if I'm not mistaken - not sure if the scheduling had changed since it has been years since I last naik train at KTM Kuang

Petrol station - supposed to build a Petron station near the GG u-turn area eons ago but nothing materialised until now, not sure what the issue is

ATM - supposed to have an ATM machine soon at the GG sales gallery/waterfront area, still nothing materialised despite the signboard showing 'ATM' already placed long time ago

I think the closest petrol station is the one at Shell BCH / Petronas BTP. One can also go to the Petronas at LATAR but that requires you to reverse illegally along the exit of the station.

thanks, still quite inconvenient. what is bch and btp btw hmm.gif

BCH = Bandar Country Homes, Rawang

BTP = Bandar Tasik Puteri, Rawang

Can't really say inconvenient since I would normally pump once a week and whenever the need arise, I will pump at whichever petrol station that is enroute to my journey - so not an issue for me (not like I'm going to pump on a daily basis).

For ATM, not an issue as well since nowadays most payments are cashless / e-wallet basis and again, I would normally withdraw lump sum once a week or at times once every fortnight as I rarely pay something with cash - unless absolute necessary such as roadside stalls etc. biggrin.gif

Petrol Station - GG have requested to build Petron but still not enough population. They're waiting Scientex, D'Laman Kundang, Joya/Jovita to come in and then they will bring the Petron. There's some sort of calculation involved and they need to comply the minimum resident occupancy to have petrol stations.

The nearest Petrol Stations you can go:
- PETRONAS LATAS using Kundang Road
- PETRONAS Kuang / Caltex Kuang using old road to Paya Jaras
- Rawang Petron/Shell using Old Monkey Road
- Petronas BTP.

Atm: Same issue with Petrol station but I believe if we have petrol then automatically we have atm. Like VIcky said, there's an ATM signboard near the Sales Gallery but no ATM yet.

Speedmart already open
2 mamak will be opening in a month
2 clinics under renovation
1 pharmacy renovation
2 childcare centre (1 is inside RSKU Danau ria, 1 is near gaia)
1 Bar & Restaurant (Non Halal) below sales gallery otw open
1 Delivery service called Kirim Man
1 Coffee Shop near sales gallery
1 Barber shop under renovation

I think this is the current facilities we have now. @Vicky are you staying in DR? I think I know you?

My office in Menara TM Hybrid mode. Usually the traffic it's okay. Make sure you reach Jejantas Sungai Buloh before 9:30 AM where the lorry will start their journey.

Usually my route are:
NKVE > Exit Duta > Hartamas > Sprint > Exit KL Eco City. You can use this route to go to office in Bangsar South.

My experiment:
Go out around 6:30 AM --> 35 Minutes
7:30 AM ~ 8:00 AM --> 1 Hour 15 Minutes
10 AM --> 45-1 hour

If go back:
Bangsar South > Sprint > Hartamas > NKVE > Rawang (S)

Before 4 pm : 40 minutes +-
4:30-5:30 pm: 1 hour +-
6:00 pm: 1 hour 15 min +-

About food delivery I think got a quite good choice since I'm usually wfh. However if delivery fee quite pricey compared to I stay in cheras last time. If you can, Gaia Residence will be having a lot of food, mamak, restaurant etc, you could go there pretty quick to tapao.

Kundang is another town which I can see the potential coming in.... Myra Gardens is developing that area .. further up got Gamuda land.... I believe more developments are coming to nearby Kundang, Rawang.

Therefore, commercial shoplot is needed to cater for the current and upcoming residential....

Anyone would like to purchase shoplot can look for me..

Sorry, not sure what is DR but I'm not staying at GG but very familiar with this area smile.gif

Me too working at Bangsar South and will always use the same routes that you have described, haha.
I also WFH most of the times and whenever I go for food delivery (Grab), Diamara at BTP is a good choice for goreng2 food.

Go to Bangsar & Go Back Home:
NKVE : RM 2.30
SPRINT: RM 2.50

Alternatively if you don't want to use sprint, you just don't exit to Hartamas but instead go to KL Sentral route and take the middle exit where you will head to Kerinchi LRT. But it's a bit jam over there.

If you want to try another route, you can try to exit Federal and try your best to endure the pain of the jam and exit Guthrie > Latar > Kundang Exit

DR is Danau Ria, a unit of Rumah Selangorku by Gamuda Gardens. I purchased a unit of RSKU and Illaria (work in progress).

Yes BTP has a lot Malay food choices. Later we will have Kantin at BTP near the KFC and new grocery mall. Kantin is a food court and I think it's going to be good hopefully. Meanwhile Kundang has a lot of Non-Halal food for non-muslim individuals. Paya Jaras on the other hands has a lot of food but not my type since it's more towards Minang/Indonesia food.

Did you all noticed the eventual size of esteem? Taking the entire hills(horse riding trail) till next to the lake? It's pretty huge, I'd say..

When the contractors will finish up the road branching up to Dlaman Kundang and Kundang Jaya?

At night that area is way too dark and already few accidents happened - the last a biker hit the divider and broke his leg
