Almost all (if not all) Amway agent sell the product at cost or minimal profit. At least these are the practice when Amway was in 222.
*
Seems you are not familiar with how Amway ABO conduct business. Amway only have 2 type of prices for all products, it's either customer price or member price. If you would like to get member price, you will have to sign up as an ABO, you can also get all benefits of being an ABO(discounts, bonuses, insurance coverage, participate in all events for ABOs etc).
There is no minimal profit or whatsoever "price below member price". There are only few reasons for those "low price",
1) The products are expired or expired soon, or
2) The products warranty validity expired or expired soon, or
3) The ABO stock up (stockist) the products but not able to sell off but willing to loss in order to push out the products, eventually he can't sustain the loss anymore and quit the business & the customer have no one to service.

When buying things, we have to be alert if the deal is too good to be real. In Amway we (not all but at least i am) practice the ethic & professionalism following the rules of conduct.

Hehe, I know Amway way long, since the 222 time as we used to run a small eatery there. Before the first generation Water filter go EOL, we already stock enough and still enough till now smile.gif

When I mention cost price is a member price, not customer price. Not the cost of manufacture price. If that what you mean, sorry for the confusion.

Sand media is already preferable for outdoor filter. Our outdoor filter is mainly to remove large particle sediments, membrane media tends to clog and hard to do maintenance.

Hi. I am looking for a water filter to be installed at the kitchen tap. To remove chlorine and possible rust before boiling. Preferably one that does not need to use electricity. I am in Cheras. TQ

I'm currently looking for under sink filter too and comparing between Aquaphor and 3M. Here are my queries and would really appreciate if anyone can help as I couldn't get those information that i needed from the internet. Queries :-

i. Are the Aquaphor Crystal Solo and 3M AP Easy Complete sufficient to make the tap water drinkable? FYI, I'm currently staying in a condo which is about 8 yo which i believe they have a centralised water filter.

ii. 3M Ap Easy Complete is about RM960~ as per Lazada but what is the price for Aquaphor Crystal Solo?

iii. 3M Ap Easy Complete cartridge is about RM270 as per Lazada too, how about the cartridge price for Aquaphor Crystal Solo?

iv. Let's say a small family now about 3 pax, as per recommendation for Aquaphor Crystal Solo, the cartridge should be changed every 12 month; how about 3M Ap Easy Complete cartridge?

Would really appreciate if anyone can help notworthy.gif

Thanks!

i. It is drinkable (even syabas water as they claim in their website is drinkable)
https://www.syabas.com.my/consumer/syabas-water-quality

Question is, is the water Healthy or not for long term consumption? Drop by my shop if you need to know more smile.gif

Here is an example, this crystal eco has been used for 1 year, you can see the first and second cartridge is dirty while the final filter is clean. So, if you are using a single stage filter, you will be drinking the contaminants in the second filter.

ii. Aquaphor Solo is RM 699

iii. Replacement for Solo is RM 150

iv. Alll brands the same, either replace every 12 months or when it reaches capacity (whichever comes first). However, due to malaysia's poor water quality, the "Capacity" claim by most companies are not accurate. So, do get a higher capacity filter than what you really need. If you have an outdoor filter, then it should be OK to follow the "Capacity" claim. Why change 12 months? Bcoz carbon adsorption effectiveness drops over time and most effective within 1 year, for other reasons you can also ask me when you are in my shop if you need to know more smile.gif

If you have time, i do suggest reading through this discussion thread, lots of discussions and info discussed before here. However, most people do not have the time, that is why i suggest them to drop by my shop smile.gif

You can also read up about aquaphor indoor drinking water filters here

website is working, www.aquaphor.com.my

1) Cuckoo - mild alkaline with average pH level 7.6 - 7.8. Actually our syabas water originally is already mild alkaline as per Aquaphor Lab test report is 7.6. As our tap water contains mineral, it will be mild alkaline while RO water without mineral is mild acidic with pH 6.5. So, any filter except RO will produce mild alkaline water.

2) Website is working www.aquaphor.com.my
or more info https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4orAkJ_n8...TNCcmFpX2M/view
3) Aquaphor does not manufacture water dispenser but we do have a combo for water dispenser. With our setup, you are able to have filter tap for convenience of getting water for cooking and also dispenser for drinking, 2 outlets with 1 filter (Aquaphor Crystal Eco)

How good is a water system? You need solid proof with black & white fact sheet to tell that, not just words by sales person.
eSpring is one of the best water filter system available in Malaysia, the NSF certification is on whole unit system, not only part of materials.

This is my unit, it's written at the back of the unit on what it claims.
Back then it was certified for standard 42, 53, & 55, now added 2 categories which is 401 for emerging compound/incidental contaminants & p477 microcystin removal.

Hi can i ask for some advice. I am going to move to a condo but only temporarily around 3-6 months while waiting for my house to do renovation. Currently at the condo unit there is no water filter that i can see.

Is there any water filter that does not require any installation? As i wont be staying there long so it wont be economical to install water filter... In my mind so far thinking getting those BRITA water filter jugs but open to any suggestions.

Just buy distilled water if you are staying for short term.
