Hi all, just a quick question to all the sifu's here...

After I install the vertical sand water filter that people normally install as POE, and I plan to move houses,

Is it okay for me to transport the sand filter sidways?

Or it has to be transported upright... is there any pro and cons?

Thanks all....

I bliv you will need to replace the sand also, just pour out the sand and water, then transport to new house, then put in new sand.

Many customers asked about Aquaphor Crystal Eco flow rate since it is 0.1micron, how would it affect the water pressure. As different area has different water pressure and it will affect the filter's flow rate as well, here is a video to show how good is the flow rate.

Thanks zheilwane... the sand filter is relatively new (not more than 6 months)... it just happened that I will be transfered to a new location...

Thus, I dont think I will need sand change... anyhow, is it okay transferring it by laying it down, or is it a must to transport it upright?

Hi, can pm prices for both amway and aquaphor, together with full specs incl installation? Others welcome too.

I don't believe in bullshit like alkaline, energy, etc water. Please do not quote me for woo.

I can't drill or put under sink. Need to be above sink on table.
Don't need hot cold feature. Just straight drink from tap.

thx in advance!

Hi bro, actually most of the info, labtest reports, video and etc you can get it here
http://my.aquaphor.com/crystal-eco

Aquaphor Crystal Eco can be installed under or above counter. Sometimes it seems impossible to install undersink but it could also be done if there is a stopvalve or you are willing to hack a little. For condo, best to retain the stopvalve and hack above the stopvalve for an extra water outlet for the filter. For landed properties, you can remove the stopvalve and control the water from your water meter in case of any maintenance.

Too many brands in the market, you will need to survey a little to get to know which type is suitable for you. Based on my survey currently Aquaphor is the most value for money @ RM 1500 only.

Aquaphor Crystal Eco @ RM 1500
3M DWS2500 @ RM 2800
Amway Espring 3.5k - 4k (i guess)
Coway monthly plan or RM 3.5k - 4k
Kangen RM 12k
Panasonic Alkaline machine RM 3k+
Nesh, Diamond and many more of the direct sales filter cost RM 3k+

All of these filters are different and have their own selling points, so you will need to do some research and determine which type is best for you.

People who buy Alkaline Water that costs at RM12k are either rich people or idiots people IMHO. Put the myth theory of Alkaline water aside, if we only got one choice to buy Alkaline Water, why would someone want to pay as many as RM12k, even counter brand Penasonic only costs RM4k IINM (which I still think is a overated)

i used this for many years until wife decided she wanted undermount filter. this filter is good and you can drink straight from it. if got prefilter you can use one cartdrige for a year.

if you decide in getting it, let me know. we found two new & sealed replacement cartridges when cleaning up. will give to you with a big discount smile.gif

Replacement Cost

Aquaphor Crystal eco replacement is RM 450 (capacity 8,000L)
3M DWS 2500 replacement gonna cost RM 900 - 1000  (capacity 2,839 L). You can actually cross check this with lazada or other 3m online store.

Filtration technology

Aquaphor with CarbFibre Block (more advance carbon block filter) + 0.1 micron hollow fibre membrane

3M DWS 2500 with carbon block + 0.2 micron PP

If you wan to know more, do drop by my showroom as i have cut out for all 3m Indoor filters and Aquaphor, so you can look at the inside of the filters and compare to decide which is a better product for you.

interested on aquaphor crystal eco.. question, the replacement of rm450 is in the set? saw from photo, got 3 filters? also, any indicator of when to change?
