Monitoring what? When to replace the cartridge? Even on this forum there are people who say that this system failed them, saying all is good, but filter blocked. The best super intelligent monitor is pressure gauge, check pressure before, check pressure after, calculate the difference, change cartridge. All this smart things wouldn't be required if only Espring had 100RM washable pre-filter.

You have NSF 53 because you're selling in USA and California. And your NSF 53 is mainly for VOCs and lead. VOCs are easy to remove by pretty much any filter. There are 100s of VOCs out there, you just listed them one by one and certified, this is how you got 140 contaminants. NSF 55 is for UV systems only, this is the only reason you have it. System without UV cannot get 55 because only, well, it's doesn't have UV.

We've been over it 20 pages ago. Again, it's not a bad system (and it is great that it got all these certifications) for 600-1200RM, depending on how much one wants to pay for brand name and marketing. Even at 600RM can get healthy profits. But for 4500RM or even "3K+" it's 4 times overpriced.

For this kind of money, one can get tankless RO system with like 4 membranes, 1200-1600 GPD and a nitrate filter and a mineralization cartridge and a dispenser and still go for a nice dinner.

filter can just buy from kl. not too expensive.

why would it be fake? its' just a lump of fibre reinforced plastic molded part. how expensive can it be to make it.
3m also sell filters in china, hong kong taiwan wat. in malaysia perhaps maybe they dont want to sell you the head,
even aquaphor has the adaptor head only. cheap cheap in europe.

Ok, will try to search for Aquaphor head as well, hope can get it without touching Russia, where logistics is a freaking nightmare. If can get price of Aquaphor down to 800-900 I think it will be good for everyone. I saw the head before, but it was for Crystal H, 4 cartridges, not 3.

In Amazon, Aqua Crest is selling compatible RC for 3M and culligan but I dare not buy because no NSF. If your compatible RC is NSF certified and cheaper then ori, why not.

I've being using the 3M filter head bought from Taobao for about 2 years. I compared it with the original local 3M, both are identical. Material quality to my naked eyes also same in comparison.
Fitting to original RC is perfectly smooth and snug. Can replace RC on the fly without shutting off the control valve. If you want to see the filter head, PM me.
I hope you can bring in these common filter heads to help put pressure to overpricing in branded water purifier.

If I bring parts of 3M and such, must assemble it here, I doubt people will be willing to DIY assemble from parts. So still gotta sell as a kit, just in wholesale package and at better price.

the point is to inform you the solo head cost less than rm100

so a base system with 3 filters will cost you rm350 (3 replacement filter which includes profit) + 3x100 heads. no reason why it should be rm1200 to rm1800

My RC are 3M C-Complete and Culligan RC-EZ-4.
The most common 3M series for PoU are AP2 and AP3, I have AP3 head (Easy Complete), ar188 has AP2 head (all bought from Taobao ). For PoE, AP9XX series can forget about it, the original cartridge is too pricey (~RM650) unless you can bring in compatible RC.
Agree with you that people not willing to DIY assemble, in fact they even want installation included. I think it's better to brand your compatible under your Fresca name, just like some electric appliances, same product but different brand names.

By the way, I dissected my retired Culligan EZ-4 cartridge for research purposes. Any comment on the material quality ?

The company that offered me replacement cartridges doesn't make C-Complete. I will check further.

Ap9XX, if I find the head, can be great opportunity. Big advantage is that some people, who do not want to maintain PoE, but ready to pay 600RM per year for replacement can get a filter too for lower than 1400...

I want to buy Distruptor cartridge (stage 2) only to put into my diy standard 10" 3-stage and connect to Culligan RC-EZ-4.
The set up will as follows:
stage 1: no cartridge.
stage 2: 1 micron melt blown (spare unit)
Stage 3: Distruptor.
Final stage: Culligan RC-EZ-4

The intention is to remove what EZ-4 can't remove.

Yes, can, but let me check what RC-EZ-4 does. I might have a better solution. This was exactly my intention, to bring a filter that can remove bacteria/viruses without UV or chemicals, for people with systems like Aquasana, 3M, etc, easy add-on and this filter is on the way from USA. Will let you know by tomorrow.

I've opened up the cartridge and found that carbon block is pretty good size. At least double the size of 3M C-Complete.

Yes, but you need to remove the filter head from the CTM-01 housing because C-complete cartridge is longer than C-CTM-01 cartridge.
