My experience was even worse. Really sad; I have this reserved water around 30L, every few months i add some clorax into it. I eventually decided to use this water for my fish tank (after stagnate for 2 months without adding clorax. And all my fish gone except bandaraya.

DIY install? easy or not?

Should not be hard, i replace the pvc valve to brass valve for my 3M outdoor before. Just some new pipe, joints and glue will do.

anyway digging around that ez-4 filter is now rm450 (last time 350). cheapest 42/53/cyst filter in market right?

I thought want to eat popcorn first manatau the show fizzled out without a fight. . So, ron c was right, don't be too excessively overzealous to spend thousands of RM for fancy premium water filter and cleanest possible drinking water. A basic clean filtered water is equally good.
Yes, cheaper than 3M. Cullligan ez-4 is US35 @ Amazon, ask your sister bring back from US.

ya thinking of that option, but before using the ez-4, which do you think is a cheap pre-filter i can use before the ex-4 set? u know like those 10inch tube type. maybe can prolong the ez-4 abit.
