Seems like Maybank Ikhwan is the best alternative for me. Mainly on petrol. HLB wise is too much for me, I dont spend that much (10 x RM50 transactions). UOB one card (gold), capped at RM300 for petrol, still maybank ikhwan wins.

After maximum cash back, only switch to Maybank Ikhwan or else you have no card to use for groceries. |

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Jun 28 2015, 05:54 PM) The idea of using codes is it won't turn up on Google. Second, it will be harder for banks to read how one "abuse" the system. Making a particular benefit to last longer. We are not abusing the benefits. Those are their features, not that we use any back door ways. I really don't understand this point. |

If you spend MAX RM1000/card, after that use another card and you always pay on time, how is Maybank going to earn? |

I don't buy groceries, doesn't have family yet. So no prob. QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 28 2015, 05:56 PM) Yes, I'm still trying to understand how HLB works. HLB wise if you spent a lot and get rm100 cashback each month , I don't think the annual fees is a prob lol. Can get max rm1200 per year cashback right. But problem is I don't spend that much.I'm not as hardcore as you, I will only go there when I need to travel. |
