hellokitty82, the Underwater World is worth the money compare to Singapore Sentosa (which is small and nothing much to see)

The entrance fees you can check the latest from web,
Thais : Adults 450 Baht | Child 280 Baht
English it says: Adults 750 Baht | Child 600 Baht

Last visit, they are building the shark aquarium,..damp huge. Get ready your camera battery as shooting seem never enough.

Yeap there is Pingu to see as well.

im back from bangkok already...

stayed at First House Hotel which located at a small lane....but only 3mins walk to Platinum Fashion Mall, 5mins to Central World and Big C, about 10-15mins to Siam Paragon....so it is consider convenient....
if budget allowed...do consider Amari Watergate hotel just opposite Platinum Fashion Mall....no need to walk at a small lane to First House Hotel... tongue.gif

The entrance to Siam Ocean World is super expensive oh....990Bath per person...which includes 4D movie and ride at a glass boat. sweat.gif
but enjoyed most in the ocean world is the time when the people feed the shark!!! All the sharks surrounding them.... thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Also went to Grand Palace and Wat Phra Keow....entrance fee increased from 250Bath to 300Bath dy....but worth to visit because the Wat Phra Keow or known as Emerald Temple is very stunning!!! thumbup.gif
Tips here....don't ever ever believe anyone approached you at the entrance, they will give any reason to say you cannot go in the temple now...because they want you to ride a tuk tuk and the tuk tuk will drive you to few gems shop...very wasting time although they said no buy nevermind...they just want to earn the petrol voucher....im so stupid..i remembered i read forum here remind us don't ever believe...but when i got there..so stupid....so sudden kena tipu liao.. vmad.gif vmad.gif

MBK Mall is very much like Sungai Wang Mall... tongue.gif
But i love Platinum Fashion Mall the most because a lot varieties and the clothes, shoes, bags, souvenir are dirt cheap...food at food court also not bad....i tried the Tom Yam Kung in the foodcourt... thumbup.gif

ya... its true. i was cheated as well... they told me its closed for 1 hour plus for buddha praying... then suggested me to take a tuk tuk to lucky buddha, standing buddha and marble temple nearby.... then the most importantly is he asked me whether im student. i so naive answered NO.... stupid me. then he say there is a thai export shop on promotion now... yet he say "to go these all places, only need 40 baht, if the tuk tuk charge you 100 baht then don take. its too expensive..." i so stupid asked him help me to get a tuk tuk for me. then after each temple, the tuk tuk brought me to this stupid jewel n tailor shops. i at first said i don wan to go, but he insists to bring me there. he don wan to move until i say YES.... Damn.

luckily when i entered the shops, i told them im still a student, then they din push me, but push me to buy the stupid soap for 350 baht. i insist not to buy. cos i know i can get it for 50 baht outside. then i just walked out. the tuk tuk driver was angry cos i din buy anything (he cant get any commission o petrol coupon) n fetch me back to grand palace even though we hvt been to standing buddha yet. when i reached the entrance of grand palace, only i realised that its open all the time....

so, anyone going to bangkok o grand palace, pls be careful.

Ellloo.... I'm back from BKK. Already started to miss the place, buahahahaa....
Our itinerary doesnt really work and the trip may seems boring to most of you ( coz it is rather shopping )
Here's the things we have done :

Day 1
- Check in hotel (takeanap), only 10 mins walk to Siam & SalaDeang station
- Went to Siam Paragon, Siam Center, Siam Square ( the best one ), MBK
- Night went nearby Ribonson & Suan Lum night market ( but didnt shop at SuanLum ), my fren mobile phone was lost. So we ended up rush back to hotel to check but it was lost somehow.

Day 2
- Went Platinum ( Great place to shop )
- Night went Suan Lum again

Day 3
- Chatukchat ( Can't believed we actually walk from 9am until 5pm ).
- Robinson area ( patpong area )

Day 4
- Back to MBK to get some stuff
- Walk over to Central World for Naraya ( fren's request )
- Back hotel & go airport

Like i said, it was rather a shopping trip that sight seeing. Hotel was not bad. Like the concept & people that working there ( superb helpful ), location was great too ( Almost walking distance to any BST/MRT ), but the cleaniness of the hotel was not very very good in terms of plates & cups in the room & breakfast.. Hehee.. BUT still alright la.... Will be back another time..

pictures i will upload at my blog..will keep u all updated once i update my blog...give me some time yea...hehe tongue.gif
itinery ah...here it goes

1st day:
arrived at 930am....take taxi to Pratunam area (my hotel is near that hotel)...the taxi cost us 300Bath include toll and surcharge. So guys, remember must take public taxi from airport....go at entrance 10.
Then after checked in straight go shopping at Platinum Fashon Mall. At night, have a walk at Pantip Plaza since just beside Platinum. Pantip Plaza is more to electronics, camera, etc.

2nd day:
Mount Temple
Marble Temple (just outside...no mood to go in although just need to pay 20Bath to go in because kena tipu by the tuk tuk) sad.gif
Grand Palace and Wat Phra Keow (Temple of Emerald Buddha) [recommended ... go visit and you will know rolleyes.gif ]
Central World ... Naraya [ppl shop like no tomorrow shocking.gif ]
MBK (very much like Sungai Wang) smile.gif

3rd day:
Siam Ocean World @ Siam Paragon...entrance fee is 850Bath, 990Bath if includes boat ride and 4D movie [is quite expensive...worth of not..depends on own judgement...for me...interesting part is the ppl feeding sharks rclxms.gif ]
Siam Paragon is very high class shopping mall...so i just walk walk then go out... tongue.gif
Opposite Siam Paragon is call what? Like a street with lots of small shops along the way...also HardRock Cafe is there....quite happening there when i went...coz they were helding some function there....got band playing and singing, young ppl selling sweets, cakes, desserts, souvenirs, etc there.... thumbup.gif
Then walked back to Platinum to shop... tongue.gif

4rd day:
last minute shopping at Platinum again before depart back to KL ... thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

basically...my holiday is half half sightseeing and shopping....among all shopping centres..i love Platinum the most...as you can really shop for cheap clothes..... thumbup.gif
