Sirocco cost a bomb. RM500 for a set dinner per pax.

But the view is worth the price.

Or you can just opt for a drink at the Sky Bar, just beside Sirocco

omg! this is insane!!

but yeah, from the website, the view is breath-taking!

i will be going to BKK on December. will be checking in on two different hotels. for the sake of testing, lol.

i wonder did anyone stay at Baiyoke Sky Hotel? it claimed to be the tallest hotel in Bangkok city. do check out the website!

man, this is enjoying-life!!! thumbup.gif

ahem, how come there isn't much discussion on BKK's red light district tongue.gif

according to friend's experience, the so-called "Tiger Show" is pretty boring, entry fees are around Bath1,000 for 2 person (inclusive of 2 sucky drinks), the LIVE show is nothing special, maybe is something different, eye-opener lor since it is prohibited in Malaysia.

i think, i shall exclude that from our BKK itinerary
ohyah, we wanna experience their night life, clubbings and pretty "gals" (can touch boobs ka? kekekek)

p/s: blinky, your BKK reviews are useful for me to plan my itinerary~!

Wait until last minute-lah...U cancel now AA probably will not refund anything but if AA is the one announcing your cancellation u will be getting ur refund
*
stimix is right, don't cancel your flight first, see how things go.
logon to AA website and check again for announcement on your departure day

if AA cancel the flight = they'll refund you
if you cancel your flight now = you will get nothing

QUOTE(joeylny @ Nov 27 2008, 02:43 AM)
so sad to hear dat.. gosh those who book hotel separately dunno can refund or not..scary
*
i booked my room via atsiam.com
and they're aware of the thailand condition now

here's a reply from them,

Thank you for your question. Hotel informed that if the situation on 3 Dec 08 is not better and still have a problem like last night or your flight will be cancel urgently, they understandand and not charge you. However, we will charge you only 5% for the transfer fee of the refundnable.

i already ask the hotel. they can refund 80% to me...about the travel insurance i check with AA and it's included...
so if i want cancel the flight now i will not get my refund?cause decided not going ord sad.gif
still chaos there shakehead.gif

check this,
http://www.airasia.com/site/my/en/page.jsp...=airportclosure

apparently, AA is not going to refund us, but they give us a 3-days credit shell, which means,

if 1st Dec if your departure day, and BKK airport is still closed,
you're given a 3-days credit shell,
by 4th Dec, you may fly to BKK (provided the airport is reopen).

*you can't change your destination, WTH... doh.gif

My bro and friends just changed their afternoon flight to Vietnam instead; am not sure whether it's free or they have to top up. Because I just received a SMS saying that they would still be flying but to Vietnam.

b00n, is your bro taking MAS or AA?
