First Cabin Hotel at Heneda Terminal One.
At Heneda International Terminal have to take free shuttle bus to T1.
But the price for one night can go up to Rm5xx per night on peak season.
Even not far but taxi fare still expensive. Midnight rate .....est Rm200 around to reach Toyoko Inn.

Rm550 to reach Shinjuku.

No la, we paid 2000 yen thereabouts the last time we went to Toyoko Inn Haneda.

It's only 4 km according to google maps.

you booked one room for 2pax or 3pax? Never think of squeezing one person in for FOC. Japan hotels very strict one

Just heard news of airasia x cancelling kul to nrt.. Dammit.. My flight is on 4th Sept midnight plus all accomodation booked via airbnb..

Haneda timing really sucks. Supposed to arrive on 5th morning now arriving at 4th late night. Is there any place to rest in haneda like a capsule hotel or something? Travelling with family hence abit mah fan.

mystays nishi-shinjuku? If yes, then definitely no space to sleep on the floor. I stayed there before. Then you need to book a 1pax room for your brother.

It's really not recommended to sneak in extra person....it's either you'll get sent out or pay a hefty price for an extra room on the spot...

still cant find a reason why they canceled KUL > NRT route, looks popular. Unless they cut cost. At least it just screwed up my 1 way ticket only. If they announce got flight direct from Hokkaido to KL then i'll be quite happy . biggrin.gif

that cancellation really screws up planning. plus need to fork out another RM 800+ for accommodations for that one additional night due to arriving late.

Hope they allow me to transfer my narita flight to Hokkaido.
Then i no need to go through those troublesome connecting flights.

come to think of it... rerouting to kul-dmk-nrt is a better option than kul-haneda.. no need to spend another night unnecessarily.

your flight to dmk, did you choose the 5pm flight or 6.45pm flight? 6.45pm arrive 7.50pm. Need to check out, collect bags and recheck in right?

which is why I still cant make my decision which route to take! rclxub.gif

@limchee: have you bought your luggage? need to buy for both kul-dmk then dmk-nrt? or AA will waive the kul-dmk & dmk-kul luggage? unsure.gif

I prefer they cancel or re-time kl haneda route. The timing is a waste of 1 leave/off day.

I hope they faster announce the Hokkaido flight. Currently I can't make any plans for Hokkaido cos cannot book budget flight from Tokyo to sapporro.

Hi guys, may I know which JR Pass dealer in Malaysia usually give the best rate?
JTB seems quite ok, they are updating the conversion rate in their website weekly.

Thanks in advance.

I already kena the Narita cancellation.

AirAsia is still in the midst of informing the affected passengers. You can contact them trough the premium hotline or drop a message at their livechat requesting their pre-flight team to call back.

AirAsia is offering 3 options to affected passengers.
1. Shift the flight to Haneda at no additional cost. You may also change the travelling date within 14 days of the original travelling date.
2. If you insist on flying to Narita, you will have to take a Kuala Lumpur - Bangkok - Narita flight. You will need to pay extra for the Kuala Lumpur - Bangkok luggage. Fly-tru is not available so you will need to collect your luggage and check in again at Bangkok.
3. Get a credit refund to your AirAsia account and you can use it to book a flight for yourself or anyone else within 180 days from the day you have chosen this option.

Cash refund is not available.

I kena too but I will stay overnight at the airport. You may want to consider the same if you are travelling on budget.

Also, to the others, don't wait them to email to you. Please contact them directly so they can re-schedule your flight immediately. Please refer to my post above.
