If you fight hard enough, I am sure they will waive it. Again, connecting at DMK is troublesome too as you will have to go through the check-in and immigration again.

re-checking in and immigration is still a better option then going to haneda at a weird time and having to spend a night there. There's a chance of missing the last train out from Haneda.

It really depends on your preferences, like accommodations, meals and shopping.
If you plan to go free and easy, willing to stay in hostel rather than hotel, not gonna spend much on shopping, 5k is more than enough.

I already kena the Narita cancellation.

AirAsia is still in the midst of informing the affected passengers. You can contact them trough the premium hotline or drop a message at their livechat requesting their pre-flight team to call back.

AirAsia is offering 3 options to affected passengers.
1. Shift the flight to Haneda at no additional cost. You may also change the travelling date within 14 days of the original travelling date.
2. If you insist on flying to Narita, you will have to take a Kuala Lumpur - Bangkok - Narita flight. You will need to pay extra for the Kuala Lumpur - Bangkok luggage. Fly-tru is not available so you will need to collect your luggage and check in again at Bangkok.
3. Get a credit refund to your AirAsia account and you can use it to book a flight for yourself or anyone else within 180 days from the day you have chosen this option.

Cash refund is not available.
*

Yes, just one flight arriving at 10.30pm.

You may contact them through live-chat and request for the pre-flight team to call you back.

Guys already 3 pages of AirAsia stop fly to Narita. Message here already clear enough.
Change destination to Haneda or Goes Bangkok then transit to AirAsia Thai to Narita.

If you guys want to know more on it should ask at AirAsia section.

Not here anymore.

Please stop spamming here.

3 pages......Really Enough Already.

I need your guys co—operation. Thank you.

Hi, did anyone tried using any Malaysia local bank debit card to withdraw money at Japan ATM before? How does the rate works? How much is the processing fee?
*
I used Maybank ATM card to withdraw at Japan's Citibank (Max JPY150k per withdrawal), 3 times.
Maybank charges RM12 per withdrawal. So u need to withdraw a lot (at least RM3k worth) to balance out the fee.
Rate wise, better than exchanging at money changer in M'sia and Japan.

was planning to visit on jan 2017..haizzz
*
Sabahan should fly BKI-TPE-NRT.
There're loads of LCC flying TPE-NRT/KIX.
Namely Peach Aviation, Vanilla Air, Scoot, Jetstar.

Missing a train is better than missing a flight for this case. If you are not transiting, they will not be responsible to schedule you a new flight if you miss the second flight due to first flight arriving late.

since nasi sudah jadi bubur, my as well add some ingredients and make teo chew porridge with it.

KK to Taipei via AA, when promo can get RM99 one way.
Taipei to Tokyo/Osaka, when promo can get TWD3000 return.
Exclude meal & luggage.
Save u the trouble to fly 3+ hrs to KL & transit then fly 7+ hrs to reach Japan. Unless u really love flying & enjoy the extra 2000 miles of air travel.

Try airbnb. Can rent a big house to fit all in one place for about rm1k a night.
Pm me if u need help. All my trips are now with airbnb accomodation. I'd choose it over hotels if possible.

come to think of it... rerouting to kul-dmk-nrt is a better option than kul-haneda.. no need to spend another night unnecessarily.

your flight to dmk, did you choose the 5pm flight or 6.45pm flight? 6.45pm arrive 7.50pm. Need to check out, collect bags and recheck in right?
*
chose the 6.45pm...

QUOTE(smoochiesayn @ Jul 24 2015, 05:42 PM)
which is why I still cant make my decision which route to take!  rclxub.gif

@limchee: have you bought your luggage? need to buy for both kul-dmk then dmk-nrt? or AA will waive the kul-dmk & dmk-kul luggage? unsure.gif
*
i bought before the flight cancellation. no i no need to pay anything. not sure for those who havent buy though.
