Damn at Bolded part, this is unacceptable. I need to re-consider then, although I liked B787 Dreamliner very much.

Because Narita are JAL big base. ANA have very limited Aerobridge space. Not like Haneda Airport whole Terminal 2 are for ANA and whole Terminal one are for JAL.

hmm weird, didnt notice JAL while i was there.

Btw forgot 2 things, ANA lounge is on the opposite side of the terminal in relative to the boarding gate. And if i am correct the whole SEA flight are board by bus (I noticed Bangkok/Manila/Singapore while i was there)

Lastly a big pro, they allow 2x 23kg bags for economy class, which is total of 46kg where no other airline give this much. I will definitely fly ANA if i am planning a shopping trip.

Because JAL was at Terminal 2 while ANA was at Terminal one North. That why u won't see any JAL aircraft.

But then if Haneda case, we all arriving at International Terminal instead, unless domestic flight.

NRT case, ANA & Star Alliance are at T1 South Wing, Skyteam at T1 North Wing. I thought should have enough.

If I take JAL or MAS arrive NRT T2, sure have skybridge one.

I would add another cons based on my understanding, the B787 they used for our route is the slightly more unfavorable one in 3-3-3 layout, and non-recliner seats, it just slides forward.

Well maybe, just prefer 2-4-2, as long as it is 2 on the side.

I enjoyed 2-3-2 on JAL very much, although it is just a refurbished B767-300.

Well overall, I think Dreamliner is worth a try anyway. Just that the timing, they served breakfast either omelette or porridge.

I finally booked ANA tickets for two this coming April 2-10! Most of the accommodation I booked on AirBnB because I've never tried it and the pricing looks great for the location and space. Will be going Tokyo>Osaka>Kyoto>Tokyo so I will get the JR Pass for 7 days and activate it when I leave Tokyo.

The budget for this trip is RM6k per pax (I know, it's super budget) so after flights and accommodation plus JR pass, left RM2K per person. Will that be fine for 9 days?

Oh, and we really want to stay in a Japanese-style ryokan with rotenburo, best if near Tokyo with a view of Mt Fuji (can be a tiny view also can). I tried to book many places but either I'm booking too early or there is seriously no more rooms left. This will be for April 9. Maybe sakura season, that's why no rooms. Any suggestions? If still cannot then, without view of Mt Fuji also can.

Thank you!

Just some sharing for anyone who's taking AirAsia to Osaka. I just arrived last night, and the flight was on time - 10.25pm arrival at KIX. However, maybe because it was a Saturday, I queued for 2 hours at immigration as there were too many arrivals! So I missed the Nankai airport express train to Namba and also the midnight bus to Nankai-Namba station. I managed to get a ticket but the bus attendant refunded me the money as there was insufficient buses for the queue, so we had to take the buses to Osaka station instead. The queue for those buses were just as long. Took a cab to Namba which cost 1950 JPY for a 10 min ride hehe. Entire experience from getting off the plane and getting to my room took me 3.5 hours wink.gif

Its recommended to take flight depart 1.00am from KLIA2 and arrive at 8.30am in Kansai Airport. Its much easy to catch public transport during that period.

A light jacket will suffice. Which part of Japan you will be visiting?
