Kokousai Ski Price List

Based on the price list, I need to pay a half day pass + rental of ski equipment?
That's mean: 3700 yen + 5200 yen = 8900 yen

Thinking Ski and Hot Spring Bathing Package, worth it ah? How to go from SKi to the hot spring area? pass by?
Launching price last month... some forumers also got this price ler...
RM272 all tax inclusive. Later only add in baggage and foods...
*
Highly recommended to go Rususut or Niseko ..snow powder...the best place for snowboard..recommended only January and February ...lots of snow...Its take 2-3 hour from Chitose Airport...

I'm heading to Niseko in January, any recommendations of slopes for a boarder? On that note, any good restaurants to recommend? tongue.gif I did Hakuba this year and loved it, hoping to have as much fun at Niseko as well.
*
Niseko Hirafu highly recommended...for 1 Day Pass Ticket around ¥6400 yen per day for all mountain...for night the price will cheaper. Not recommended during night due cool weather and visibility . Food are no issue ,its available on top of mountain nearby gondola..just bring Yen 5000 ok...variety foods available here...recommended Ramen ,Soba ,Udon..during Winter...after you finish snowboard...highly recommended to go Onsen...at Hotel..you will total lost of energy after come back from onsen....For Hotel, its recommended to stay at Grand Hirafu Hotel..which are nearest to Gondola...save your time. But if you want to little far ,you need to walk 15-20 minutes from rental cottage offering cheapest accommodation.

Just some sharing for anyone who's taking AirAsia to Osaka. I just arrived last night, and the flight was on time - 10.25pm arrival at KIX. However, maybe because it was a Saturday, I queued for 2 hours at immigration as there were too many arrivals! So I missed the Nankai airport express train to Namba and also the midnight bus to Nankai-Namba station. I managed to get a ticket but the bus attendant refunded me the money as there was insufficient buses for the queue, so we had to take the buses to Osaka station instead. The queue for those buses were just as long. Took a cab to Namba which cost 1950 JPY for a 10 min ride hehe. Entire experience from getting off the plane and getting to my room took me 3.5 hours wink.gif
*
Its recommended to take flight depart 1.00am from KLIA2 and arrive at 8.30am in Kansai Airport. Its much easy to catch public transport during that period.

I`m using CIMB Debit Card to withdraw money from Pos office in Japan..before you fly..you need to activate Oversea at ATM...everything was ok. If you not activate ..you cannot withdraw 7 Eleven ATM. smile.gif

Hi mates, something unfortunate happened and I am going to travel to Osaka for 11 days alone sweat.gif

I have checked a few website and I believe it takes less than 3-4 day for me to finish visiting attractions in Osaka. I have visited Kyoto/Tokyo last year so I don't think I am going back there in this trip.

Any suggestion that what can I do to finish my time there? (Sigh)

I use google maps. Also quite important to check which exit you want at a specific metro station. I spent so much time figuring out which one gets me nearest to where I want to go cos I skimped on preparation and just planned out a general route.
*
Highly recommended to use Tokyo Rail Map Lite ..

you can see how slow i drive

remember the trick is dont drive too fast and dont turn the wheel too fast , when u cornering use 20-30 speed slow slow turn and dont hit the break too hard this will make u slipped even further in front

Its right as you mentioned above. During winter lots accident happened..due of snow and ice. Recommended drive car with 2WD rather 4WD.. .You also need to check your tire...because during winter ,normally tire have to change for Winter tire.
Just want to share my experience during my stay at Hokkaido from 2001 until 2007...never miss snowboard all winter..Hokkaido are the best ever place to travel.

Dear friends, I planned to visit Japan next year. Planing to bring a handy with me. But is it cheaper to buy electronic products such as Sony Handy cam, action cam etc.. in Japan? Then I will have to wait till I reached Kansai, japan.

Thanks.
*
I bought Apple IMac 5 K..July this year...cost me only ¥267,624.00.。 Mastercard charge me RM8141.00 only then i got 10% pointer from Yamada Denki ..then spend External HDD 3 T for free...In Malaysia..If i not mistaken Imac 5k the price is RM8500..without GST.

Also on June 2015..I went to Tokyo..bought Nikon 3200 new model with Memory card..its cost me ¥137,40.00...using my Mastercard..then CIMB charge me only RM4173.96....Im also have Yodobashi Camera Pointer Card membership..its free to register.

Voltage is 110v- 240v..but not all electronic equipment have same voltage...For me..any camera or computer should be ok...

Well..its up to you buy or not.

Apple Malaysia..price going crazy..

seiko watch pricing wise, is it cheaper to buy in japan or m'sia??
*
For latest model, its better you buy in Japan. You can make comparison based on Yodobashi price.Based on currency exchange at Maybank Forex Rates ,RinggitMalaysia..is RM3.54 = ¥100 yen . If you think money is non issue..just buy in Japan .

Currently,I`m have my Casio Pro Trek tough solar ...price around ¥20,000 bought at Rera Chitose Mall on 2007. This model Made in Thailand. Still ok till now.

Some watch maker like Seiko ,Casio...are cheaper price..most Made In China. Most expensive price watch are Made In Japan.

Bought for my friend on June this year at Yodobashi Akihbara...new model Casio Edifice..Tough Solar..the price is ¥34,500 ..also got pointer ¥2555 then Mastercard charge me at RM1074.79

Hello!

I understand that the places mentioned are more to enjoying the nature and doing winter activities during winter. But, how is Sapporo like? Any places to shop/walk around like in Shinjuku since it's a small city?
*
Sapporo are biggest city in Hokkaido . I been many times here..well compare to Tokyo or Osaka. Not much activities you can do here..recommended...Susukino / Sapporo Eki / Sapporo Tower / Odori Koin .

Shinjuku are more happening .. smile.gif
