Looking for a 1.0hp air cond for small room

Midea 1.0hp inverter or Daikin 1.0hp non inverter?
Midea is slightly cheaper with an inverter, but I'm worried about it being china brand hmm.gif

i have a very low ceiling height, about 9.35ft tall. was advised to do false ceiling to run the aircond piping from two bedrooms and the living room (condo). both rooms are located left and right of the living room. in a dilemma right now, not totally against the idea of false ceiling but because the condo is already very small and i still need to fix the ceiling fan, this lowered ceiling is definitely troubling me. the service yard is located at the other end which is why the recommended false ceiling to run the pipes to save cost.

condo owners, what are your experiences?

btw, the contractor said the pipes not advisable to bend 90degrees, which makes my options even lesser to run against the wall (which a cove lighting should be good to cover up).

You're blocking the airflow on top.

Hot air suck from top of the aircon and flow out from the bottom front.

Read the manual how much space ontop require to be clear off.

Hi, is Mitsubishi Inverter Aircon ok compare with Panasonic or Daikin? What are the main differences in term of function/warranty/after sales service. Initially thinking of buying Panasonic but shop owner recommend Mitsubishi to me. Thanks in advance.

Anybody knows how standard installation by installer works? Do they not include wiring? I was told I need to add 80 for wiring to nearest plug point

If it's just plug and within 10ft, usually it's included in the basic installation. Unless you want it direct to DB or concealed installation. Then it's extra charge.

Seems like some include it in standard installation but some don't include it
2 installer quote me 200 which seems like a nice price, but add 80 bucks for wiring doh.gif

they should conceal the copper pipes instead of cover with a pvc casing. since the drainage also concealed why not together with the pipes?
air con should lower down at leas 4 inches. the return of the air is blocking by the ceiling.

very unprofessional installation..

usually will be given 10ft for the piping and the wiring will connect to the nearest point with a plug with cable clips.

switch + pvc casing will be additional cost.
