Few online transaction have been made, however no SMS alert has reach to my phone since already updated to RM1

Called to CS and get to know that there have two types of SMS alert for online transaction:
1) security code will be received during purchasing, that one consider as SMS alert, so no SMS will be send again from bank.

2) some online party are auto charge from your card without code eg: Google. Bank will then send you SMS alert on this.

Now only noticed, because this is different way from other CC

guys, how long did you take to get cimb cc to approve from application date?

i applied through cimbclicks last week but have not receive any calls or email from them yet.

Syabas Will Not Accept Auto-Billing Payment Via Credit Cards

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 3 (Bernama) -- Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (SYABAS) will no longer accept payment for water bills by auto-billing via five credit card banking agents from Sept 1.

"The five banking agents are CIMB Bank Berhad, UOB Bank, Citibank, Maybank Berhad and RHB Bank Berhad," SYABAS Corporate Affairs Division executive director Priscilla Alfred said in a statement here today.

However, she said the consumers concerned could still pay the water bills by cash or cheques via various channels.

They include SYABAS' One Stop Counter Service Centres (OSCS) for the districts of Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, Gombak, Klang, Hulu Langat, Hulu Selangor, Kuala Langat, Kuala Selangor, Sabak Bernam and Sepang.

Operating hours for the OSCS are from 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

In addition, Priscilla said, payments may also be made to official collection agencies such as HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad, Public Bank Berhad, Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Berhad, Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad, Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur, POS Malaysia Berhad, Mobile Money and Paylink Global.

Priscilla advised consumers to pay their bills on time to avoid cutting of water supply.

It said 5 banking agents auto billing. But it can accept cards payment over the counter???

Do you really need to have a minimum of annual 100k income to qualify for it?

CIMB charge me RM140  Annual Fee and GST RM8.40 for Visa Gold card

can i call CIMB to waive this ?? any chance ?

If you used the card, you can request for a waiver.

If you have not touched the card at all, you can request for a waiver as well.

But in the end, it's up to them completely.

my application rejected second times which is last 3 months around april and now second times go to klcc i thought got on the spot and wait 1 hour got message say rejected.then around 2 pm the staff call back and ask me if can submit manually back...and must wait for 3-4 days for cimb platinum cash rebates..
