Terms & conditions:
1) To participate in the campaign, cardmembers must register via SMS only once using the mobile number maintained with CIMB Bank ("Eligible Participants"). Eligible telcos for SMS registration are Celcom, DiGi, Maxis and U Mobile only.
2) Each Eligible Participant shall only be entitled to win one (1) Hourly Prize per month and one (1) Monthly Prize throughout the campaign period.
3) The Eligible Participant shall earn entries to win the Hourly Prizes from Malaysian time 0000 hour to 2359 hour (24 hours) every day during the campaign period.
4) Eligible participant(s) shall during the campaign period earn one (1) entry for every approved RM50 retail spending transaction in a single receipt from every Monday to Friday and two (2) entries on Saturdays and Sundays.
5) Hourly Prizes will be given to Eligible Participants six (6) to eight (8) weeks after the end of each participating month. Monthly Prizes will be given to Eligible Participants within twelve (12) weeks after the end of the campaign period.

interesting card application from CIMB @ Sunway Pyramid today.

1) reached the bank, applied CIMB CR Plat on the spot. 1-hour approval. EPF statement printed. no other documents provided. free gift: umbrella

2) went for lunch, waited for 1 hour, no SMS approval text received (even until now). went back to check status.

3) manual status checked. APPROVED. immediately printed the card at the back-office (can even hear the printing/embossing sound) another free gift: Travel bag, Atler brand.

since just 1-hour approval, why not, right?

the staffs are free too just now. so, they are paying extra attention to serve you

cut CIMB CR, then +RM5 for MACH's Movie category.

then cut it. u cant get much benefit from 5% cashback on movie tix purchases unless it's a substantial amount each month

guys, new user here. some question about eStatement:

1) can i subscribe eStatement and deliver to my email?

CIMBClicks says only applicable to CIMB Conventional Accounts and not available for Credit Card and Kwik Account.


2) OK, payment due date is 17 Sep. Assuming no card activities, should i pay statement balance or outstanding balance (statement - cashback)?

Weird, i applied on 13 Aug, i can see my cashback posted on 29 Aug (Recent/Unbilled Transaction).


3) The eStatement actually posted in CIMBClicks and we are to manually download, right? File format is PDF? I guess for Aug estatement, not yet ready, as chiahau mentioned above, it will be available somewhere 1st-2nd Sep?
