Cimb bank has a 1 hour approval for their card centers apparently.
Too bad the cut off time is at 4 pm.
But it's a good thing to know that they offered such services. Or am I slowpoke in this matter?

A little disappointed with CIMB overall today.
Purposely planned my timing ngam ngam to have an empty timeslot during 11~1 pm to sign up for a CIMB Card from the KLCC center. Reached there around 11.10 am. Nobody bother to assist until much later. Was told to come back at 1, which is already quite late for me. Came back around 11.50 am, saw few staffs there. Filled up everything and submitted the EPF with additional documents to speed up the application. Till now, almost 1 hour d but no news yet to come and collect. Sweat. |

Did anyone kena before like this? They ask for my Gross salary which is > 3k/month . Send them your bank statement or your payslip.Problem solved, you'll get your card soon. Sometimes they can be a little annoying. |

QUOTE(victorywp @ Jun 12 2015, 03:53 AM) apply for supp card for your family and each supp card cashback cap is separate from principal. so if you reach your cap, then request your supp card to pay for your purchase. Wow. This is nice. But eventually both cards (principal and supplemental) are bound by a maximum cashback of Rm50 only right? |

Thanks to you and Victory here, I would now proceed to apply another supplementry card for my family Did not have the chance to read the TnC as I just got the card yesterday. Was planning to read it sometime later when there's a downtime |

QUOTE(dradormien @ Jun 26 2015, 12:37 PM) Got.KLCC has one hour approval. Garden also, I think. CIMB is much more efficient compared to Maybank, I must admit. Settled my new card and got my supplementary the next day as promised. All you need is your latest EPF statement. |

I am kinda confused with CIMB.
Let's say my limit is 10,000. My statement balance is 2k. I just paid 2k off yesterday. Outstanding usage is about 400+ But why my available Credit Limit is around 8k+? |

QUOTE(David83 @ Jul 12 2015, 09:26 PM) I start to feel the benefits of CIMB CR MC. The Library also got 10%.20% off at San Francisco Coffee I swiped RM 5.60 for Coffee of the Day. SF is not 30% meh? That day Guardian got promotion. Spend 500 and above, get 50 bucks CB from CIMB to be credited on August. Additional 50 bucks voucher from Guardian itself. Total spend = 500 - 100 = 400 Quite happy to cut my M2C effectively next month as I fully utilized my CB this month already |

QUOTE(David83 @ Jul 12 2015, 10:29 PM) I saw at the cashier desk, it's 10/15% Oh, the previous promotion before this one. From the receipt, it mentioned about CR MC and entitled for 20% off. I seldom shop at pharmaceutical franchise. The new one is different. I usually help my parents buy stuffs like Brands Essence of Chicken, sometimes Guardian cheaper compared to the others |
