For maybank no problem, cash rebate in unbilled statement can be used for the current bill payment. I had done that before & no late charges. Not sure about cimb.. But should be the same. :-P

Yeah, just noticed statement balance is not.

I believe there are no banks that would update the "statement balance".... even if you make the full payment immediately...

"Outstanding balance" will be reflecting your cash back...

You'll notice the "min payment" amount still stands.... MBB would deduct it, not with CIMB....

A year or so ago I got RM200 in "cash rebate" well in advance of my statement due date, I excluded it from payment on the due date, and I was hit with interest of a few ringgit on the following statement 2 weeks later... so even with wining the recent RM100 cash back, I paid my statement without exclusion... Once bitten twice shy...

For this issue, you have to call CIMB..My case also same..after they check, they cash back to me next statement..

2. Their machines are working alright.

3. Their staff are actually working.

Problem number 3 is the major one actually.

Waited 3 hours and 15 min for my card last time around while my friend got it all done within 25 minutes at the same branch.

Few online transaction have been made, however no SMS alert has reach to my phone since already updated to RM1

Called to CS and get to know that there have two types of SMS alert for online transaction:
1) security code will be received during purchasing, that one consider as SMS alert, so no SMS will be send again from bank.

2) some online party are auto charge from your card without code eg: Google. Bank will then send you SMS alert on this.

Now only noticed, because this is different way from other CC
