QUOTE(sj0217 @ Dec 5 2015, 08:22 AM) You can actually check from your receipt, if go for installment, the amount in the receipt will be showing to you how many months to be installment QUOTE(fruitie @ Dec 5 2015, 11:17 AM) Checked the receipt and called the bank. It was a normal swipe. Advised by the customer service guy to check with the merchant/shop. Went to the shop and turns out the salesperson did do a normal swipe and I told the manager about the problem. But it's settled now after all the hassles of going back and for to the shop and to the nearest cimb cash deposit machine to free some credit limit to re-swipe and the shop refunded minus 5% processing fee for the installment plan. Thanks for the help guys.

QUOTE(Jeffreynsx @ Dec 6 2015, 09:12 PM) Hi, need to ask a simple question. Let's say today I spent for my dinner and the CIMB Clicks shown some deduction from the CL...this amount I shall pay after 28th Dec 2015? Which is after the statement generated from bank? I realize that CIMB Bank indicate payment due date on 15th Dec 2015, which is the payment required to pay for this month or previous month? Thank you. Due date is 15th dec, so I take that your statement date is 25 Nov. So the due date amount is for all transactions posted before 25 Nov. Since your dinner today is on 12 dec, it will only be shown on your next statement dated 25 dec, due date 15th Jan.

May I check for the CIMB Cash Rebate Platinum Card, the statement date is set @ 28th of every month or it will be based on 25th of every month based on the calculation? Wondering if I can get it earlier since it looks to have much better security.

QUOTE(chiahau @ Dec 7 2015, 08:26 AM) Lazy want sign CC slips Even if the card is ready with PIN and PAY, the merchant's card device will also need to be upgraded to comply. Otherwise, you will still need to sign for another 13 months (until 1st Jan, 2017) if the merchants have not changed their card devices. There is nothing you can rush here.

I was under the impression he was referring to Pin and Pay cause he mentioned 'security'. Paypass and PayWave have nothing to do with Security.

Tesco and etc still somewhat slow in adopting such upgrades.

It makes the whole process confused.
