I really donno about the pings now man, previously I said my line was good at 60.49 already right? About 20 days ago, I havent complain till now cuz I havent DC from then until I got booted by streamyx 2 days ago. Then I reconnected and got 60.48, cant get 49 anymore. Ping was the same, wierd. Second day wake up, Dont know if anyone turned of my router but ping was at 1.2k, disconect, got 60.49, same thing. Try again, 60.48, same thing, try again 60.48, back to 500-700. So, I can only say, once you get a good line, dont get disconected.

streamyx is screwing with me at night. expereince this yesterday and now the same thing. random dc every 3 - 10 minutes once log on. how to play like that? the adsl line light goes abnormal like no connction. this is damn stupid.

So err hows the latency now?

Heres something that might help some people.... My line, went dead yesterday around 7pm and till now I cant surf anything, including any webs, ping is so so, getting timeouts but when succesful, 270ms to yahoo.

So today my friend went and bought a new Dlink modem, his problem was solved, so I tried to use the modem those telekom guys left at my house (they sorta given it to me for free lol) and wollah, it worked, and not only did it work, it was super fast. Then I put it back to my modem, and all hell breaks lose again. So now I'm sticking with the telekom modem that was left to me, things are going so fast.

Later I'm gonna take my friend's Dlink modem to try things out, if it works then maybe... it was our aztech modem all the while?

so what the brand and model of the modem telekom left for u to use ?

jaring broadband is terrible...i can get 18k ping sometimes...insane

Guys i just bought WoW and it arrived in the mail yesterday!!! I am jumping up and down with barely anticipated JOY!! but i have one BIG problem.... I have only a pathetic miserable 56k dial up from TMNET. I cannot get streamyx in my area...

My connection always connects at 30+ - 40 kpbs (or so it says). 30% of the time i have no problem playing DOTA but 70% of the time i get 5 sec freeze of lag, i get dc from a game, sometimes my net conncetion just freezes up n refuse to send info unless i redial in again, sometimes my connection just dc for no good reason.

I have two options, one is to install it n play on my dial up connection, and secondly is to wait 2 more weeks when i fly to Aussie to study where there is a fast connection waiting for me there.

I really dont wanna wait 2 weeks so i must know if it can be playable with a dial up from TMNET which connects only at 30+ kpbs on average.

Second question is if i join a server close to Msia n play..... when i move to Aussie can i change server n keep all characters played on previous server??? or must i start from scratch each time i change server?? Im very NEW to this so pls help.....

Krawl all the servers are at US, so it doesnt matter which you join but I suggest you join a new server, where everyone is new and you can start in a better enviroment. If you dont know which is new, try joining low pop servers. You can ofcourse choose to play with people in this forum.

Anyway, server to server transfers are not allowed so ur stuck at 1. And remember, please use your real contact address name and stuff, everything, you will get banned if they find out its fake. Trust me, I know 2 person that got banned already.

Aside from that, anyone having lag spikes once in awhile while playing WoW? I notice when the spike comes it hits everyone. Im on 60.49, my friend at 208.111 and another at 219.94, all get hit my spikes together at the same time and end at the same time.

seems like the lag problem still won't submit.

anyway krawl i'd say wait for 2 more weeks go aus play better and u'll say more money anyway. wow is very addictive and if u play on dial-up tmnet....the bill at the end of the month won't be very nice.

usually there wont be any enemy even in contested zones unless u spend up to 2 hours walking around

Just noticed spike lags for Cheras and Seri Petaling areas. Its hitting 3k pings this morning. Be prepared for another round of laggy WoW for those living in this areas.

Yea what kinda bull crap. I get spiked every 20 seconds which usually last more than 10 seconds, how am I suppose to heal? Telekom guys these days are getting worse too, they will try to find stories that its not their fault, even if you complain all the way up to their second level sigh.

yea it is just horrible, the lag spikes ( 20 seconds are enough for everything ) , I should give up,but damn the 200 bucks i just paid,i think we should ask for compensation from streamyx!

(btw another super funny thing the guy at tmnet tell my friend AIR BOCOR !!!! AND Causing connection to go slow !!! )
