QUOTE(ExCrIpT @ Apr 22 2005, 01:29 PM) The connection was good from 2am to 7 am...stayed up whole night enjoying 600 -700..IP 219.95...after 8.it shot up to 1 K ++ as of now..1 am... 4 K plus.. same here, now also 4k++ , can't get the 218.xx and 60.xx in my area at all, no matter how many times i try, so give up and use dial-up, nice 500-900ms with very low packet loss, smooth. Streamyx sucks , always use sub-standard solution. The 218.xx and 60.xx, tmsuck reserved for business area, my office in Bukit Bintang always get the 218.xx and 60.xx , have not see the 219.xx b4.

QUOTE(Riuken @ May 6 2005, 05:12 PM) Anyone using dialup to play WOW here? Which provider is better? Jaring or TMNet? I tried TimeNET last time when Streamyx was having packet loss problem(1-2 years back?) and the connection was wonderful.. TimeNET is not an option now thou since it is now much more expensive than Jaring and TMNet now Might go register for a dialup line as backup for Streamyx lol Using Idigi and jaring , very playable , latency around 500-800ms, very minimal packet loss. i'm also the first batch of streamyx user , can only get the 219.95.xx.xx ip , but the line is quite stable this couple days with yesterday(6/5/05) extremely good , played from 10.30pm till 4am(today) , got constant latency of 400-700++ms and the latency bar is 80% of the time stay yellow with very minimal packet loss, guess this is the best days ever since i played WOW for 2 mths.

QUOTE(Reis @ May 21 2005, 10:49 PM) Yea so now 60.48 is the worse and 219.95 got improved huh? My luck is so good man, 2 days after I changed to 60.48 the connection got screwed to the max. Now I need to spend an unknown amount of time changing it back or to something else. Anyway why all talk about phones liao? All out of topic lol. I also planning to buy a samsung phone now, nokia seems to suck 219.95.xx.xx going back to his old state, 1k-1.4k latency. TMSUCKs screw again. 218.111.xx.xx still ok though. Samsung not bad using one now , although the sms side need improvement.

QUOTE(garka @ May 23 2005, 02:22 PM) hey guys, just wondering the streamyx package 512, is it fix IP address? Cause i can't get any other IP number. (60.48) dunno , maybe depend on area cos at home i never get out of the 219.95.xx.xx ip range but at office i can change to 60.48xx.xx , 218.111.xx.xx, 218.208.xx.xx and 219.95.xx.xx easily just by disconnect and reconnect.

QUOTE(Reis @ Jun 21 2005, 07:27 PM) Heres something that might help some people.... My line, went dead yesterday around 7pm and till now I cant surf anything, including any webs, ping is so so, getting timeouts but when succesful, 270ms to yahoo. So today my friend went and bought a new Dlink modem, his problem was solved, so I tried to use the modem those telekom guys left at my house (they sorta given it to me for free lol) and wollah, it worked, and not only did it work, it was super fast. Then I put it back to my modem, and all hell breaks lose again. So now I'm sticking with the telekom modem that was left to me, things are going so fast. Later I'm gonna take my friend's Dlink modem to try things out, if it works then maybe... it was our aztech modem all the while? so what the brand and model of the modem telekom left for u to use ?

QUOTE(sanylcs @ Nov 4 2005, 03:03 AM) well, i stil having 3k-10k ping at 219.95, no idea y. For those who stuck with 219.95.xxx.xxx ip address , there is still a way to get 400ms-900ms latency , the trick is, u must relog until u get an ip address with the third ip range is a double digit number ,that mean try get this 219.95. 22.xxx , not this 219.95. 333.xxx. This also beneficial to all others ip , 218.111 / 218.208 etc.

my guildmate said that the 60.50.xx.xxx ip is good , u may start on that ,for other ip if the latency is high like 2kms, just make sure to relog until the third ip range is a 2 digit number then it will be fine.

QUOTE(sanjikun @ Dec 27 2005, 08:26 PM) today in 8 PM, i got this 219.95.XX IP, but i am still getting 3k lags... is it because mine is a 512 package? 219.95.xx.xxx ip is becoming useless now , it started to have high ping >1.5k latency around 2 to 3 weeks ago , the latest 219.95.xxx.xxx that have good ping now is this 219.95.200++.xxx ip. Just make sure the third ip range value is >200.
