QUOTE(lolskates @ Oct 27 2005, 05:31 PM) i just read the first 5 pages of this thread ,and the last 3 pages, i dont seem to find an answer. Right now, im having a 512kb streamyx connection. Surfing web, downloading is fine. i have the connection of how a 512kb connection should be. But when i play WoW ping is more than 2k , why is that? Is this due to the server being far away , firewall , etc? Does anyone know about tunneling or tried doing it ? ur problem is almost same as mine, i'm also wishing to find out y such problem occured, a few days ago blizzard said that there is some latency issue, but the issue seems to be solve now (i think), so thats mean what make our latency so high would probably be that st**** TMNUT broadband got some problem that not yet fixed or not yet discovered.

dont worry everyone, most ppl having problem atm. ppl with 219.95 is the worst as far as i can see. ppl with 218 is slightly better depending on which IP. i got 218.208 which is only slightly better than 219.95. i can see some of u able to get to 219.94 which is good connection too - from wat i heard this ip share with corporate line. depend on which area (mayb), when u subscribe (mayb) or when u connect, u able to get other diff ip. in my case, so far i can only get 219.95 at anytime, from afternoon to evening i able connect to 218.208 as well.

On monday I was able to connect to 218.111.x.x for the first time. Got about 300-500ms smooth connection. Went gila and did BRD, LBRS 5 manned and ZG till 6.30am in the morn. Too bad, after that Streamyx lagged like shite.

I can never get on the 218 ip ranges or even the 219.94 ip in my area. It has always been 219.95. About to give up soon and play other games until it gets better. Either that or a change of isp. Heard about Jaring Wired Broadband from a friend of mine. Wonder if I should be a guinea pig.

QUOTE(sanylcs @ Nov 4 2005, 03:03 AM) well, i stil having 3k-10k ping at 219.95, no idea y. For those who stuck with 219.95.xxx.xxx ip address , there is still a way to get 400ms-900ms latency , the trick is, u must relog until u get an ip address with the third ip range is a double digit number ,that mean try get this 219.95. 22.xxx , not this 219.95. 333.xxx. This also beneficial to all others ip , 218.111 / 218.208 etc.
