QUOTE(sanylcs @ Oct 15 2005, 11:13 AM) ok, guys i using 219.95 ip, this is wat i noticed lately, weekdays around 8am to evening the ping is bad around 1k or more. However, during midnite 1am to 8am, the ping is about 500ms. my char at Blackrock. weekn totally sux like now! it wasnt the server problem, i login low pop server, the ping still 1k or more. this is streamyx problem. they really need to do something. i can see some of u saying high latency but still fast respawn, yes, but overall, the fast response time is way too short compare to slow repsonse time, i can say 75% of time is high latency. It's not the server problem. It's Streamyx's crappy connection to international servers. Just do a tracert and you'll see the latency to the login server is quite high. I dunno, I've been fighting with Screamyx's tech support people for 2 weeks d ever since the latency issue cropped up. Sometimes they admit it's gateway congestion, other times they just crap about best effort services. 9 emails and 4 calls, still no fix to the latency problems. I give up. http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=146311&st=1480

Hey guys when I register is it okay if I use my real details as in Malaysian Address and Telephone number?
And another thing is if I use a guest pass, after the 10 days of gameplay, I use a new authentication key to continue the account do I only get 20 days of gameplay or do I still get 30 days of gameplay after the guest pass's 10 days?

Whoa, 1k-1.5k pings, that's very laggy. About the same as what I'm experiencing now with Streamyx having gateway issues. Used to be able to play with latencies around 600 >.<

I was playing with 300-400+ during the betas. When retail came out it was around 400+, few weeks later woolah 2k ping for 2-3 months +, constant b****ing at Streamyx got me a new port which gave me 500+ latency for a month or 2, now back to 700-800, sucks! So do check out the other ISPs thats providing new services. You can find them at the Networks section on this forum itself.
Jaring Wired BB is one of them and I'm definately going to give it a try, its cheaper, same speed, and what can go wrong? Streamyx is already unplayable, at most Jaring will give me the same thing, an unplayable game, but then its a new hope. At the very least we could be able to play a lag free game for a few months? Heard that Jaring wireless BB gave the users 300+ pings, tho some reports said it was worse than Streamyx, 2k ping, but seriously, our wireless technology is still not reliable, this wired one should be a lot better.

stay away from JWBB if you plan use it to P2p. Jaring totally blocked P2P and they also dun encorage ppl using jaring to play online game.
FYI, i am JWBB user and use it to play wow, latency quite ok for me but no p2p at all.

I dont think with their current power they can discourage people from playing online games. Blocking p2p yeah maybe but what I want is WoW Anyway Jimmy, whats ur latency with WoW using Jaring? Btw that Jaring I was talking about is the wired one, not the wireless.

wired only lauch currently, so no comment. I am using wireless which give me Ping from 400-700( average).
I do suffer bad latency for about 1 month+ which i totally cant do anything( mean icq, msn, suft net also cannot)
