My STB still not autoupdate yet...I think it won't trigger the auto-update as long as u don't enter the HyppTV launcher.

Haha Just to double confirm, as they it's mentioned by removing the URL helps. |

Oh Man, the box autoudate and hard installed iFLix into the ROM. It takes up humongous space and you cannot remove it. You can only disable it from Android setting.
People with so many apps will have major problems. I cannot get 1.1Gb space left anymore! I wonder why TM like so keen to help this iflix company ? are they crony company or what? Iflix already failed from the beginning due to poor quality video (SD) and sound. Now they use unifi platform to shove into customer's throat. |

Better sleep is worth more than the cost of a better performing box. Lots of cheap ones to choose from People with so many apps will have major problems. I cannot get 1.1Gb space left anymore! Please, I just checked and it's just under 19MB total (app itself is 8.5MB with data+cache at 10.5MB) Google Chrome is much larger than that. QUOTE(fruitie @ Feb 18 2017, 11:35 AM) Installed version is 2.8.0-1015. Launched it just to see if it would work. App successfully launched but was asking for login details. One would think that it would automatically detect it's installed on the TM issued STB + Unifi and autoconnect accordingly.. But nope. So have login details ready.QUOTE(surefire v LED @ Feb 18 2017, 12:10 PM) Yup because i can install anything i want and the update progress didn't show up ever since i deleted the server URL Good for you. |

I watch series in 720p and movie in 1080p with this box via kodi (i posted movie screenshot playing from hypptv box almost every other day in movie thread https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3310717/+1220 ) i think you're also the active user there. This box is very capable for my need and for most people's (people who is still using their living room for watching movie with surround speaker) not those with dedicated mini home theatre and not for those watching moving infront of computer. I hate redundancy. I need ample space for the kodi to run smoothly in the box especially when it caches package and thumbnails, 20MB of iFlix is humongous for this box. the reason having 1.1GB space deters me to come to this thread complaining "that's not even enough to stream a decent 1080p 45 minutes TV episode (2 - 4GB)." Which i never did coz i never faced this problem with movies i streamed from Quasar which i already proven in the aforementioned link. This post has been edited by chokia: Feb 18 2017, 01:56 PM |
