until kodi can be installed..all hypptv boxes, old or new are useless

 Finally after a year, i called TM and lied to them that my old Huawei EC2108E is overheating, they replaced with Huawei EC6108V8. Just like that. They didn't even take back the old box and no signature needed.    All these while, I was wasting my money buying raspberry pI 2 and android boxRant aside, First thing i did was connect the Rii Keyboard (only RM50+ with lazada voucher, It has backlit keys and touchpad works like mouse. Second connect 1TB HDD on the other USB port Then i installed Kodi. Addon Quasar & Exodus What i need now is Sambadroid to share files with my macbook, but it doesn't work since this unit is not rooted. Please recommend alternative apps. |

Another thing, if in the middle of watching movie/ series on kodi, if i switched to Hypptv, and back to Kodi, Kodi will not continue the thing i was watching previously.
How to go about this? |

OK since nobody answered my question, whole morning i was searching and i found this by accident :-
How to access all your connecting storage (HDD, SD, SSD, NAS) to your hypptv on your mac / windows without ES explorer or Sambadroid First you need to access android settings and not hypptv box settings. Easy way in kodi program   Immediately you see in Share > Samba Device  Tick start  It will immediately appears on your Mac finder as android_8dddbb, click that then you have all HDDs,SSD, SD cards NAS that are connected to your hypptv for easy control from your computer. Have fun. That save a lot from installing sambadroid pro and rooting your device. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now If you really need it, coz the above method already good enough to control your files, anyway here is... How To access your Mac from your Hyyptv is by using ES explorer installed in Hyptv Open ES Explorer go to network and click the + sign below and choose SFTP  Find your Mac Ipv4 in system preferences and fill the form below with your id and pw  Tadaaa all your mac contents now accessible on your Hypptv's ES explorer  |

Testing Torrenting 1080p Movies with Quasar Today.
At least 13 movies i'm torrenting simultaneously.  Progress view from my mac. Android_8ddbb is my few hard disks connected to my the Hypptv Box. sde8 is the storage path for torrented movies You don't need other client for torrenting, just use Quasar in Kodi. Browse movies and start choosing your best torrent (1080p 5.1 DTS /DD / DTSHDMA/ TrueHD) Once start just cancel and choose other movie. Quasar will do the magic keep torrenting even you switch to watch TV on Hypptv. The torrent will stop only when you quit kodi. Quasar will continue torrenting when you start Kodi Do it quick cause all nice movies will have less and less seeders nowadays. Some tips to save space and avoid that annoying no space notification message popups on your screen.
1. Go to settings and force stop and disable any apps that you dont need including Play Store, this culprit always use 100s of MB play store service files that consume space. trust me you dont need the play store after you have ES explorer to install apk.  See only these apps left under My Applications 2. Delete Kodi temporary file. You'll be surprised this file can grow up to 1Gb, nothing will happen if you delete them on frequent basis.
