Finally after a year, i called TM and lied to them that my old Huawei EC2108E is overheating, they replaced with Huawei EC6108V8. Just like that. They didn't even take back the old box and no signature needed.        All these while, I was wasting my money  buying raspberry pI 2 and android box

Rant aside,

First thing i did was connect the Rii Keyboard (only RM50+ with lazada voucher, It has backlit keys and touchpad works like mouse.

Second connect 1TB HDD on the other USB port

Then i installed Kodi. Addon Quasar & Exodus

What i need now is Sambadroid to share files with my macbook, but it doesn't work since this unit is not rooted. Please recommend alternative apps.

Forgot to update. I got everything working now.

However, I can't seem to navigate my Popcorn Time to load cache file into my micro SD. Let me explore further.

Yes.. that's why my friend isn't use her ID for the Astro on the go at all. It's kind of her letting me use it now..

Just tested yesterday night after got home. Our playstore in Unifi STB doesn't allow to install Astro On The Go app. It's says incompatible. So I downloaded the apk using browser and transferred it via USB thumb drive and installed. Installation authentication with genuine ID all worked well.. streaming astro sports channel is absolutely beautiful..!

After highlighting the input box, press the OK button again and the onscreen keyboard will popup from below... Then press "Arrow Down" to access the keys.. "OK" to select character.

anybody facing hypptv problem tonight?

mine no signal on hypptv....shows satelite dish with X mark icon only...

have u login using phone/pc/laptop browser first?

and dont login using fb....register the iflix using your email account linked to you unifi registeration....

after login using pc browser, restart iflix and login normally on stb using the same login info used on the browser....
overall iflix is ok...  but the movie/series selection sucks....old collection...nothing much from newer series...

I managed to get iflix to work on my HyppTv box (EC6108V8).
1. Connect your HyppTv box to your home wifi.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Go to Manage Applications
4. Go to Running Applications
5. Click on iflix icon
6. Click on Force Stop

Exit out and try log in with your email and password.

After done all the above, my log in screen changes.
With the old log in screen, I keep getting the error message.
Now no problem with log in.

Did you connect to your home wifi?

Did you register a new email to the account?
It seems that recently Iflix has updated the apps and want the Unifi account to link to an email.
If still encounter error, please log a fault with Iflix.
